We really enjoyed our visit today, an interesting blend of local, historical art and artefacts. The cafe lunch was delicious, wholesome and generous. Our first visit but not our last.
We always try and visit whenever in the area. We enjoy the excellent painting etc but the cafe and grounds are also exceptional. Just a lovely place to relax.
At the moment the tables are outside in the main as there's not a lot of room for social distancing inside. The staff work very hard and the food is always good. They make delicious soups!!
An excellent selection of the Newyln painters of the late 19th and early 20tg Century. The current exhibition is of interiors with loans from other galleries including the Tate. Nice food in the cafe too.y
Just spent an enjoyable afternoon looking at the exhibition of Newlyn School Interiors, very interesting. Followed by a cup of coffee and some chocolate and Guinness home made cake whilst sitting outside.
Excellent mixed salad in their Orangery for lunch complemented by a choice of Susanne's dressings for it. Carnivore, omnivore ; vegetarian , vegan : irrelevant, all who enjoy salads would relish it .
