Very pretty on a sunny day. Nice car free walk down past the boats.
What a stunning little find Penarth Marina was after walking the Cardiff Bay Trail. After crossing the barrage we wandered into the harbour and what a beautiful place it is. Walking along there are benches to sit and enjoy the view of all the lovely boats that are moored up. If you are lucky you may see a boat leaving the harbour. This marina is a lovely tranquil place and if you are around Cardiff Bay it's worth a stop off
Oh it's beautiful to watch... Full of water... And there is a path to walk near the shore.. it's an amazing experience. When we went it was a little cloudy and windy. You have plenty of parking so if you're driving there is no need to worry.
Lovely place to spend a day. Took a ride on the big wheel, had a drink at an outdoor bar and watched the world go by then had a 45 minute cruise around the bay. Perfect
Went with the family to walk over the barrage into Cardiff Bay. If the weather is good its a lovely walk which takes about 45 minutes at a steady pace. Once there you are in the centre of Cardiff Bay with all the shops and amusements close at hand. Plenty of parking but it is not cheap £4.50 for 3 hours. Blue Badge holders are exempt of any charges.
