Unhelpful and grumpy. I went in with 2 parcels one of which the postage was already paid on. The man serving me slung the parcel into a bag behind him and when I requested proof of postage for both of them was told they couldn't provide it for the one where the postage was already paid as only larger post offices do this. I was directed to a post office 6 miles away so a 12 mile round journey for me. When I asked them about it they said they had had several complaints from people about the Pembury post office. I was given service with a smile at the post office 6 miles away and proof of postage was given to me without a quibble. They told me that because they weren't paid for postage paid items Pembury post office would not spend 30 seconds writing out proof of postage. I have used Pembury post office on numerous occasions but they have lost my custom permanently now. I would rather have a 12 mile round trip and helpful service with a smile. I will make sure I tell friends and neighbours of my experience too. I have also found out that it's a blatant lie that only large post offices provide proof of postage for postage paid items. There are 2 small post offices near my house and both will willingly supply proof of postage for these items. All they have to do is scan the barcode on the parcel and a proof of postage is instantly printed.

The opening times on this website and on the front on the shop door, are incorrect. I wasted my time going on a Saturday, arriving at 5.10 pm only to be rudely told that it closes at 5pm and not 6pm as advertised. Thanks for wasting 30 minutes of my day!!!

Website says it checks passports !!!!! Well they don't Apparently it's 3 years out of date " waisting my time "

Lamb Samosas are full of onions contains very little lamb.I could only taste and see the onions.Hardly any Lamb.
