Nice castle, great for kids. Some of the displays look a little tired and could do with some updating, especially the QR codes around the site that provide information on the castle. Toilets were nice and clean and there was plenty of picnic tables/open space for picnic lunches.
The castle was absolutely massive. Views from the top were spectacular. Would have been good to be able to go into all the areas. But some were blocked off whether due to Covid or safety concerns. But spent a good few hours here and was not bored. Finished up with a picnic outside looking over the moat with the swans
