Visited for an evening meal after a day out with the kids. Very quiet at around 6pm on a Saturday afternoon with hardly anyone else there.nnPlenty of parking is available to the rear of the pub.nnService was quite fast and pleasant and we didn't have to wait too long for food.nnThe menu selection was quite limited and there were no specials. We all found something that we liked, but personally would have liked a wider selection. Food was however well presented and very tasty. Prices were very slightly higher than I would have expected.nnOverall pretty happy with it and would consider returning in the future
My husband and I stopped in for dinner on a Friday evening. The atmosphere was happy and festive with people stopping in after work. The service was friendly and skilled. My husband ordered the curry, and I ordered the chicken/spinach pie. Our servings were big and delicious. I would say my pie was the best I've had in the U.K. It had a real crust on the bottom and top not just a Yorkshire pudding or pastry, and the savory goodness of the interior could not have been better. We both loved our food. I give a hearty thumbs up for the Pemberton Arms.
What a fantastic Sunday roast. The beef was so tender, roast potatoes, parsnips, yorkshire pudding stuffing, so much veg and delicious gravy. This is definitely the best Sunday roast we've had anywhere. 100% recommend.
Absolutely delicious Sunday lunch. Very cosy atmosphere and the staff are welcoming and friendly.nVery reasonable for the portion sizes. We'll certainly be making it a regular Sunday lunch spot!
Had a lovely meal and watched the rugby. The food was excellent. The hunters chicken and the pavlova deserve special mention. The host was really attentive and we and our dog felt very well looked after. Thank you very much!
