Went to Pells Pool on 05/08/24 for the 12-3 session with my partner & 3 kids. Had to book online, if you leave it too late tickets will sell out, recommend booking in advance. Did not have to wait too long to come in.nnImpressed with price of tickets, total value for money.nnPool was large & lovely, plenty of space to swim, lifeguards do their job well & not overzealous on the whistle.nnGrassed area was good too, not too overcrowded, few picnic benches. You're allowed to bring your own deck chairs, blankets, picnics etc.nnSmall pool for babies & toddlers to keep cool.nnAll Staff seemed to be polite & welcoming.nnPells pool is relatively easy to get to, train station not too far away. Small Car park located just a few minutes walk away, £1.90 for the day.nnMy only downside if have to say is that I would have liked the paddling pool for toddlers & babies area to be a bit more exciting for smaller children, to maybe add a small slide and/or water fountains etc.nnOverall 5/5.
Had a great time, the pool was on the chilly side but you soon got used to it, on a really hot day a cold pool would be just what you need I'm surennFood prices were good and lower than expected
Just spent a lovely first vist here. An absolutely cracking pool. Clean, friendly and helpful staff. The water is a tad chilly but no more than I expected. Very refreshing and lovely to be in the open air. Good value for money, snacks not over-priced like other places. Well worth a visit. Thank you Pells Pool.
Love the Pells pool, such a relaxed environment, well maintained and beautiful for a fresh outdoor swim. A very special place.
Lovely outdoor pool for all the family, much warmer than I thought it would be. Very cheap tickets. The kids loved it
