We came to have some food before heading to the beach. The staff were welcoming... well, the 1 member of staff that we saw. She was great. The food however, was nice and I'd eat there again, but, wasn't what the menus say it's going to be. The burger was supposed to be a big burger with brioche buns, they were standard buns and I had 2 from what I can tell microeavable burgers that looked like they came out a tin. Luckily I actually love tinned burgers, so I ate it. It was nice, but I was looking forward to a fat juicy burger in a brioche bun. The kids spaghetti looked nice, but kids can be fussy and It looked un agitating for her she is also fussy, maybe less or no tomato bits. It seems that they had a food shortage or messed up a food delivery or never changed the menu. Other than that, the place was nice. Loads of room.
Under new management. The food is absolutely gorgeous. Great value for money, tasty and loads of it. Very welcoming pub and staff were really helpful. I would definitely recommend a visit.
Was here for Sunday lunch, the Sunday roast was superb good choice of meat and side order of veg and gravy and extra veg if you require. Also a good selection of deserts. Would definitely return and would definitely recommend a visit.
Went for Sunday lunch and frankly, it was gorgeous! Perfect roasties, roast parsnip, and carrot and a selection of veg on the side. The pork was cooked to perfection, and plenty of it too. Certainly filled me up for a while. Definitely will be going back.
Good beer, friendly locals, fun & happy staff. Also the best pool table I found while holidaying down there. Would definitely go again!
Warm welcome. Over three visits we had excellent meals, very generous portions, beautifully presented. Highly recommend.
Delicious Sunday roast,, it's not cheap,, buy nowhere is nowadays,, with 2 pints of lager, it came to over £34 ,, but I've spent as much elsewhere and been disappointed,, so for a Delicious meal for two,I'd definitely recommend,,
For a hearty, tasty Sunday pub lunch choose the Pelcomb Inn.. proper meat & gravy, plenty of roasts, more than we could eat & that’s saying something. Great service, friendly atmosphere, we’ll definitely be back.
Myself and my wife with our 2 children 3 & 10 yrs have come to Dunston Camping site for a weeks holiday, this is our first day and thought we'd come here for our evening meal, it was amazing we would absolutely recommend, the food is first class fresh hot tasty the atmosphere is great, the whole experience was brilliant
