Was here with friends children. There is a goid playground for younger children and another fir older children. However I would say there is not many items in the older playground. There was only one tanke and benches to dit and eat your picnic. The park would benefit having more areas to dit and eat. The toilets were locked so we had to leave ro find one for the children. The pond is in a sorry state if I'm honest, it needs cleaning up. The grassed areas look like they've not been tended to regularly. Shame as it could be a really good park.
I mean it's a kids park. There is a slide. There is a swing. Unfortunately, this place is in fire need of a complete refit. The whole park is tired and needs the council to revamp, but it all costs money any there just isn't enough of that to go round just now. The pond, that once used to be home to the laughter of children and adults alike, whilst splashing around on row boats had been left to nature to reclaim. I know its good for the wildlife and the environment, but it looks awful. The tennis court looks like something from a post apocalyptic movie. Not worth visiting anymore I'm afraid unless you have young children who simply love playparks and will therefore be happy no matter what. Oh and there are toilets, but they are never open. But Tesco is next door.
Took our grandson here and he loved it. There are two parks. One for older children and one for younger. Many activities for them to do and the equipment is all in working order. I'd take him back in a heartbeat!
Not a very big park with either things missing or broken, as for the pond wow! Can't see it with weeds and green algae. Why not do what Inverness boating pond did, clean it. Iam sure council would get volunteers to help and would make money no problem. Shame it's come to this state. No toilets either
Kids playpark is good, large range of equipment in good order and car parking is always available. Pond features a trolley and trash so I'd give it a miss.
