Nice, big park. Upper and lower play areas for kids. Skateboarding area, exercise machines. Paths are tarmacked and are disabled and buggy friendly. Great for running, walking, etc. Very popular with dog owners! Tip: Avoid walking on the grass due to the amount of dog poo! Playground: Upper playground for younger kids. Lower playground for older kids. Restrooms: Didn't notice any. Dog-friendliness: Dogs on leads. Picnic area: Didn't notice any picnic tables but plenty of grass areas for a picnic on a nice day. There's a park café but it was closed.
We absolutely love it here. Big open park land and football pitches Duck pond. Amazing play areas for the kids Two sandpits. Obstacle course A skate park and bike track. Lots of paths for walks. Sculpture and statues. Rose gardens. Gym equipment. No toilets or cafe Unfortunately a lots of rubbish . Still worth a visit . I park in the roads around the park, free . Dog friendly with dog bins
Nice clean park, no parking though unless i missed it. Not too busy today and great for a walk.
Great park with lots of history. Explore and learn, new playgrounds added at the top end of the park and bottom. Regular dog walkers who live nearby also walk their dogs. Beautiful atmosphere when the weather is warm.
This park is so beautiful and clean, the park as a skate park, cycle park. 2 kids play area for different ages. A cafe, surrounded by amazing gardens and walks.it is well maintained and very calming and beautiful.my youngest loves parks, and we fell on this one, and was knocked back with how wonderful it is. The pond is well looked after and kio fish and lovely swans. I could go on and on.enjoy guys. Please visit and please tidy up after yourself...
Nice late evening out with the girls.....lost one in the sand pit!!! The other burning of energy.... They are doing a good job of revitalising the play area. Good on you Bradford Council : A short walk home and it wasn't long before sleep enveloped them. Thank God for parks like that.
Great park with two play areas. Lots of paths to ride bikes and scooters etc. Great to take a picnic or buy something from the cafe. Skate park, football pitches and BMX track. Great for walking your dog and the park is kept clean and tidy.
Peel Park is large community park with well laid out paths, gardens, a small lake, play areas, BMX track, bowls and sports pitches. Most of the features you would expect in a Green Flag park can be found in Peel Park. Although laid out in a small valley the paths are surfaced and with largely gentle gradients they are accessible to all and ideal for gentle exercise. The terrace with public sculptures leads to a viewing platform that offers excellent views over the City of Bradford.
Peel Park, Bradford is such an amazing place to be. It is quiet, peaceful and relaxing. A funfair event week to cater to the recreational needs of the young ones and the entire family. A lovely way to spend time together as a family and bond.
Use to go 40 years ago, came back for a visit. Not changed much but more stuff for kids to do. Very well kept and clean. Not see hardly any litter. Nice and open plenty of grass area well maintained. Do the mile walk for exercise!
