I had seen Peebles golf course a few years ago and decided that it was a must to play. A well timed family holiday gave me the opportunity to play.nnThe weather planned a thunder and rain experience, however my round was anything but.nnMy wife and I were welcomed by the manager who gave us a brief back ground about the club and even opened the shop specially for us to buy a few items.nnWe were advised that the course had just had some rain so the greens would be receptive but run true.nnThe course was in superb condition. The tee boxes were excellent, bunkers well filled and raked and I struggled to find a pitchmark on the greens. The course played fairly true to length with the wind helping on some holes, but was a brute when into off the hillside.nnI can honestly say that I had the most amazing experience at Peebles, so much so that I am already planning a return journey to play again.nnI cannot comment on the bar/food as we ran out of time to experience.nnIn summary, if you're a golfer who'd like to see beautiful scenery and enjoy a round of easy going golf, Peebles golf course is the one for you.
Peebles is a fantastic golf course in one of the most beautiful settings. The course has a great layout and was in superb condition. The staff were really good too and made us feel very welcome. Can't wait to go back, highly recommended.
I had a great experience at Peebles Golf Course! It's easily one of my favourite courses in Scotland, and for the price, it's an excellent value. I've played here three times and each time has been a blast. The course offers some fun elevation changes and varying lies, which make for a challenging and enjoyable round of golf. Highly recommend Peebles Golf Course!
Great course in great condition. Some really challenging holes in there and there are some proper nice golf holes in there. Had food in the restaurant it was really nice. Friendly staff and a great course. I will be back.
