Just went to the shop to drop off my parcel for return but the lady simply refused. She was very rude, harsh tone, and no mannerisms at all. She even told me that she doesn't have time for it. me and ask me to leave as she said she was in the middle of the conversation and discussing something important with one of her friends standing nearby. Never Ever have seen such disgusting behavior. So much attitude. Went there for the first time and was shocked.
Although the newsagent is in a very convenient location and has good parcel services, it is owned by an elderly Indian couple, and the wife is lovely and helpful, HOWEVER the husband is incredibly rude and unhelpful. He has turned me away several times when I want to return parcels with, frankly, made up rules that dont exist. He then starts shouting at myself and other customers when they insist this is not true. My vulnerable and elderly neighbour has tried to drop off a parcel there numerous times now and she has also experienced the same vulgar treatment. To the point where now she will only visit when the husband is definitely not working there afternoons and evenings. I am honestly so shocked and disappointed at the way he is running this family business. He treats you like a criminal and is actively denying residents basic services such as vital postal services during the pandemic. They should have their Hermes and Royal Mail service affiliations removed urgently.
I would like to put minus zero stars but not possible.Just had the most aweful service. Went to drop some items as this convenience store offers hermes drop off system that im guessing he choose to put in his shop for extra income. The business owner was not busy or was doing anything but just standing there. Moaning and complaining about having hermes and then when i asked him to scan an item i was sending back he said im not going to do it come back tomorrow just because he did not want to do not because there was system was not function. He through the items he scanned before mine across the floor not considering they could be fragile items or caring he has the responsibility of care. I told him why would i come back if i came to drop it off today and he started screaming and insulting. I dont understand why people own business within the service sector if they dont know or are too lazy to provide a simple and decent service of scanning a parcel and giving a receipt. This was the business owner can you imagen what the service is there overall. Would not suggest gor anyone to go here i definitely wont be going back. Hope the 5 parcels i left dont go missing i will definitely hold them responsible.
Friendly assistance from the shop. Very helpful. Offers Hermes drop off point with print in store facilities. Very convenient.
Allows people to walk in without masks. They do not want to be confrontational, but should refuse to serve those putting others at risk !!
Very handy for taking parcels back. Lady very helpful.
THE RUDEST MAN EVER WORKS AT THIS SHOP AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!!!
