This place is amazing. Great food - we had cod and haddock. They offer a healthier steamed option too, but the batter was amazing, so well worth a try. Highly recommend you order from their website and book a time to collect - totally painless. If you don’t then they have a kiosk ordering system as soon as you come through the doors on the right.
Can pay & preorder Handy free for 2 hr car park or free after 5pm opposite. V tasty, well packaged, great portions. This was actually my small daughters portion split off mine. Happily go again & recommend. Parking: Free car park opposite shop
Higher end chippy feel. Reasonably priced. Parking in adjacent car park or in front of shop. Healthy customer queue. Impressive branded packaging. Decent quality fish but only chips average on this occasion.
When I'm in the area I always try to visit Peckish fish and chips, polite and friendly staff and great food !
Was staying at a campsite nearby and drove to get a takeaway. Bit pricier than the chip shops at home, however food quality and taste reflects the price! I had the double cheese burger and chips, and it was honestly the best chippie take away I've ever had!! Service was fast and they had touch screens which you could order your food on inside.
Very clean, efficient modern chippy with electronic ordering and a great selection of food. My only criticism is that the chips are cut a bit too thick for my taste, making them a tad stodgy but others might prefer that. Prices are on the high side but not overly so considering the location.
Absolutely superb!! This is the third time I have eaten here. And the quality, taste and service is exemplary and consistent. Which beggars the question what are the other fish and chip shops doing exactly? Big shout out to the ladies who have set the bar so high! Well done! You've put Camelford on the top tier of Fish and chip shops.
Not entirely convinced by the glowing reviews... Waited half an hour for my order after being told it would take around 10–15 mins. Scampi meal looked as though it was for a child. Chips were disappointingly soggy and under-seasoned. Tartare sauce left much to be desired. The only saving grace is its reasonable price!
Went there just few minutes after closing time and sadly was returned but as we were googling for other options, one of the cook/server came out and said only chips are available at the moment. So he did gave us fresh chips with mushy peas and tartar sauce and everything was exceptional. Really appreciate the gesture and commitment for customers. Thanks
Excellent chippy!! Really good selection of meals including vegetarian all cooked to order. You can rock up and order via the self service terminal or use the app. I always use the app, it’s nice and easy and always arrives on time. It can get busy especially in the summer and weekends that’s how good it is! so the app is the best way to order and collect. Covid aware and friendly staff. Totally recommended!!
