Cosy restaurant with great food and lovely staff. First time in this restaurant as I'm in Islay for work. Staff very helpful in making sure I was warm and comfortable at my table. Even put Evanescence on the Alexa for me. Nice tables and a dome outside, pity about the torrential rain as it would be nice to sit here looking out at the Bay. Highly recommend this wee gem of a restaurant.
Really good food really nice place! We had to book and got a seat on the terrace which overlooks the bay, had heaters and blankets and was really cozy despite the weather! Had nothing but nice interactions with all the staff and the pizza was great too!
The pizza is good. The restaurant uses San Marzano tomatoes for their sauce. Not sure how long the dough is fermented for, but I'd wager overnight. We had a "build your own" pizza, which ended up being a bit underwhelming at £17.50. Maybe it's not worth it to go with anything else than the pre-made menu items. Reservation are essentially mandatory there, but you can get take away. Its quite busy. I'd go back, but there are plenty of other very good, tasty, and filling options for £15-20 on the island.
What a fab place to eat! Sharon and Paul do a great job with unusual pizza toppings. My favourite was Black and Red, Goats cheese, Black pudding and Caramelized Onion. Views across the loch are all part of the experience too.

After seeing the amazing building this place is set in, we were excited for some nice take away pizzas after a long day of catering for a distillery. That excitement was quickly quashed by the unfriendliest service we received from anyone on the island! It felt like they were doing us a favour and the rush to make our order in an otherwise quiet establishment was rather odd. The older woman on the till was disturbingly unfriendly as well. Wonder how much a smile would cost. So…4 pizzas and 3 fries, £70. A further 3 tins of beer £20. Which in my eyes, is a savage cleaning out. Especially for something a newbie pizza maker would NOT be proud of chucking out from a back garden Ooni! Unappealingly over topped, with ridiculously large chunks of topping, vegetable toppings likely were frozen, poor dough that was also undercooked. Worst thing was the heap of onion jam/jelly in the middle that looked like a dog had got to the pizza pre-boxing. I would steer clear of almost every item on the menu, bar the pepperoni…which was passable at best. But DO NOT let the premises fool you, or expect anything other than substandard pizza from this place.
Great pizza! Unusual to see so much seafood on the menu, what a treat. Scallops, prawns and lobster were all absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. Lots of people picking up takeaway pizzas. Recommended!
Really friendly and accommodating for our little girl with a gluten allergy. Pizza was delicious. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
The best pizza I’ve ever had, the atmosphere and staff are amazing. Cannoli & espresso martini are to die for!Food: 5/5
Besides the servers being nice, this was probably one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. Every dish was incredibly bland. From the meatballs to the pizza with horrible dough to the ravioli stuffed with salmon. In addition, the table was incredibly sticky, which is usually a red flag for the lack of cleanliness in the kitchen. I assume the restaurant has stayed open due to the lack of dining options in the area.
