I highly recommend this company. You will be in good hands with Pearson McKinsey. This comes from 13 years of dealing with them. They are sensible accountants who just get on with the job straight away without delaying or excuses. Great professional people to work with who take care of minimising our tax bills and anything else that needs to be done while we concentrate on business. HMRC checked us in the past and was satisfied. This company is what I want an accountant to be- reliable and always giving us great confidence in business and always there to help. Sometimes they pick the phone after 5-6pm in the evenings and on weekends! We have worked with other accountants in the past and always found Pearson McKinsey to be the most helpful and reliable.

We worked with this firm for a little over a year. During that period, we had our emails regularly ignored, had to chase them to ensure accounts and reports got filed with HMRC on time, and got absolutely no guidance on better accounting practice. I guess I should have been tipped off that they were dodgy when I realised the MD doesn't normally disclose his real name! After we terminated the contract, we found that the accounts they handed over had huge discrepancies. When we gave them the chance to rectify these, they insisted on holding us hostage saying they wouldn't rectify their mistakes until we forever agreed not to threaten them legally. They prefer to take things to court, and even tried to threaten us by saying they'd counter-sue for time and legal expenses. Avoid them like the plague. Unprofessional, unreliable, unresponsive, and ignorant of their own trade.
