Nice walk round Willen Lake took a stroll up to the Peace Pagoda. Lovely place to visit. Very well looked after, peaceful and bet it is beautiful in the summer time.
We really love the peace pagoda! It's a calm and beautiful place where families can have a great time. There's lots of green grass and a pretty hill where kids can run and play. You can also take walks and go for jogs there. We like to relax and have picnics there. It's our favorite spot to hang out and enjoy. Don’t miss the golden hours and sunset.
Nice place in the middle of nowhere there is a car park near by so u can park your car in there . This is a Japanese type of buddhist shrineVisited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
A beautiful monument in the city and a really peaceful area if you’re wanting to take a relaxing walk. The monument itself is well kept and the ability to get up close impressive. It’s a shame that the signage at the base was rather damaged in my last visit, so reading up about its history and significance wasn’t possible, but fortunately it’s not normally too busy with people. With plenty of other things to see and explore in the area it’s a spot I’d recommend to anyone and will continue to return myself.
Peace Pagoda in Milton Keynes is a place of spiritual calm and harmony. The pagoda is situated in a beautiful park, close to a tranquil lake, which adds to the serene atmosphere. Paths lead through nature, and nearby there is a labyrinth inspired by the one in Chartres Cathedral, perfect for meditation and reflection. There is also a Japanese Buddhist temple nearby, which enhances the sense of tranquility and spiritual connection. This place is excellent for those seeking inner peace and spiritual experiences. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and immerse themselves in an atmosphere of peace. A visit to the Peace Pagoda is an exceptional experience that stays with you for a long time.
First time visiting this place. Was a bit of late so started getting darker plus the drizzle didn't help but nevertheless it was and still a sight to see a place to be. Will be visiting all kinds of parks and places in Milton Keynes so happy this is just the beginning but very nice one.
The peace pagoda is a short walk from all the action over at Willen lake and just off the main path. Its a nice change to some of the things you find in parks, a great addition!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Peace Pagoda by Minoru Okha and Tom Hancock 1980 Very beautiful Highly recommended It's amazing to see that Very good location, good car park near ,also near Peace Pagoda is nice park for walk, benches, tables fresh air good walk and perfect mood
The last time I went, I sat under a tree overlooking the Pagoda and meditated. About 20m away a woman was doing likewise, we were the only ones that I saw, most people were simply going for a walk, taking pictures or riding bikes and playing ball games. It's a wonderful place to be, to find some piece and quiet in our hectic world. It may be my favourite place in Milton Keynes after my house!
Beautiful peaceful placeVisited onWeekend
