Went in this lunchtime in a bit of a panic, trying to find nice lamb for Easter lunch next weekend. Lovely girl behind the counter helped and advised, bought a beautiful joint at a very competitive price! My first visit but I will definitely be back. Thank you so much for your help - tell your boss you deserve a pay rise!
Been getting meat from Paul for over 20 years no matter where the store is. I guess my dad buying them made it special years ago but these days nothing still compares. Just finished a square sausage and nothing compared. Think next time I’ll go for a big juicy steak Hoping for the boerwors soon Cheers
Ordered the easy Peasy box for Christmas dinner. Could not fault a single part of this, was absolutely delicious and there was soo much food in the small box. Everyone around the table enjoyed this very much. Will definitely be ordering this for future years, thanks Paul!
Just went into paul the but hers to buy 2 steaks and the woman who served me said they were half price .i got charged 15 pound 30pence for one? Unbelievable i wasn't expecting to pay that for 2 steaks at half price never mind one fuming!
I went here for the first time yesterday to get a couple of rib eye steaks for Xmas day. The steaks on display were too thick for my price range so the wonderfully helpful and friendly woman who served me arranged for 2 thinner slices to be cut from a new piece of beef. She then offered to vacuum pack the meat to make sure it would be safe to eat on Xmas day because I was reluctant to freeze the steaks. Wonderful service! The shop has an excellent ambiance, all the staff looked happy to be there and were very friendly. I’ll definitely be back!
One of the best steak pies I’ve ever had, such friendly and attentive staff too. Just recently moved to Cumbernauld so I will be returning to try more of their amazing products!
Travelled from Renfrewshire to Paul’s for the steak pie. Outstanding taste and the quality of meat was excellent. Staff were funny and lovely too. Will be back asap
Just went here on the way home from work to pick up some last minute chicken breast for dinner, stunned at the £8.38 price tag for 2 chicken breast. If I wasn’t pushed for time I’d have got the bus to the supermarket and got a whole chicken and still had change. The greed is unreal here.
You should probably change the name of your Steak Pie to The 95% Gravy And Pastry Pie. Seen the good reviews for the butcher but soon learned these are because folk in Cumbernauld clearly don't know a good butcher. Pie was a disgrace.
Used to love there steak pies but I've noticed recently very little steak in the pies its all shredded no chucks of meat so I've been practically buying gravy pies
