Our experience was fine, not notably good or bad, and I was definitely hoping for more. The vegan ravioli was lack luster and the house bread which on the menu is supposed to be focaccia is really just some warm white bread. We asked about the bread once it was delivered as we were really not expecting white bread, ha, turns out that’s what they believe focaccia is supposed to be? Anyway. Mushroom tagliatelle was solid, we would order that again. With two pastas, the bread, and a glass of wine each it was £50. Would probably have reconsidered had we know the ultimate outcome
I stumbled across this place last night, and was delighted by it. I was on my own and the staff made me feel very welcome. The place had a lovely warm feeling to it and you could see the food being prepared and cooked. The menu looked great - but Sara actually chose the pasta dish for me - and promised to eat it herself if I wasn't happy! The whole vibe is authentic - the staff, Matteo, Sara and Jessica all conversed in Italian and the food was really good. Amazing pasta cooked and served the way it should be. As for the Tiramisu - MUST be had. Was phenomenal. Please do visit this great place - really is awesome.
Pre theatre lunch yesterday. Three generations. Fantastic food, drinks, servers, atmosphere. Our Italian server helped us with our choices. The chicken livers crostini was so so good, we had to order another one to share! Draft beer, house wines and an Aperol. Oh, and they even loaned us a phone charger! Great value. Love the place. Thank you Dietary restrictions: I noticed gf etc on menu. Aubergine & other veggie/ dairy free options available
I really liked the system of ordering - you can choose your fav pasta type spaghetti, fusilli, gnocchi..., then you choose your sauce ragu, bolognese, carbonara... and top it all with cheese of your preference parmesan, pecorino, burrata.... . We opted for: Seafood spaghetti - I missed seafood so much that my choice was easy! The sauce was delicious and full of flavour and I just wished I had two plates instead of one even though the portion was very generous! Mushroom&pancetta fusilli - nothing better than a creamy pasta with some yummy pancetta right? . We also had some bread and broccoli with pecorino as starters, enjoyed some Aperol Spritz with our food and finished with the creamiest Tiramisu and Affogato desserts . Covid measures: staff wearing masks, hand sanitizer available, outside sitting available.
The best pasta I’ve eaten in London! The food is always consistently delicious and all the staff are lovely with smiles from the moment you walk in the door. Shout out to Jessica who served us today!
The food was amazing! Shout out to Vanessa, she’s an amazing waitress! Highly recommend!
Used to be reliable choice but unfortunately it's really gone downhill with very average food toast instead of fresh Italian bread and poorly cooked pasta and quite shoddy decor & poor ambience. Are they just focused on takeaway....like many places recently? In these inflationary times they need to realise eating out for customers is a treat to be savoured. Staff always courteous and friendly.
I went with my girlfriend yesterday the food was amazing everithing was fresh you can tell they make from scratch i just want to say thank you to Sara for the service we had 2 starters 2 mains 2 desserts plus drinks a lot of drinks in happy hours the price was 100 a great experience that I recommend if you want an authentic italian experience. Thank you we will be back!!!!!!
We’ve been coming here for years. Always my children’s first choice for a birthday dinner too. Excellent meal this evening - super friendly staff, lovely bruschetta and burrata, great pasta and the staff even popped out to buy candles to put on my daughter’s pudding. Couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating.Recommended dishesCreamy Mushroom, Bruschetta, Tiramisu Remoli
