The most amazing vibrant pasta restaurant I have been to in NZ. The food is beyond excellent, service is excellent. It's a vibrant little restaurant that is a must to go to. Food is prepared in an open kitchen - it's worth visiting just to see how professional the chef & staff are. I will definitely eat hear whenever I visit Hastings.
Yummy! We had the lamb ragu and the prawn Spaghetti, amazing service and food. Paired with the perfect Italian white wine. We will be back! Thank you.
The food was lovely BUT we were sat at a terrible table and ther was no other customer for 45 minutes. Food is good BUT business management is terrible! This was the view from our table! We spent 126.00 without ordering mains and were done in 45 minutes. What happened to customer service? We actually watched another couple walk out when then told them they could sit next to us or outside.
Overall a great experience, 1st time visit from us all and what an enjoyable evening, the food, service and atmosphere was on point, good work team.Food: 5/5
Was great service, I did not book in advance. Luckily, they had space available. I'd recommend calling ahead in case they are fully booked. Service was amazing. Food was even better, and it was just a good night out for dinner with friends. Vegetarian options: They had 5 vegetarian starter, 1 main, and 1 side that were vegetarian the Panzotti was great
For the most part, our experience was excellent. We sat at the bar and witnessed 2 very good chefs produce our delicious appetizers. I'm sure this was not typical, but our beef snitzle main course was way over done. Ii tasted good and we didn't complain. Unfortunately things went down from there. An assistant kitchen staff member was portioning uncooked spagetti right in front of us. She actually picked her nose, then resumed her task. We didn't stay for dessert.
Lovely service, simple but nice environment and more importantly, the pasta is amazing. I had the prawn one with chilli butter. Pasta itself got good texture which you can tell when you start chewing and the prawn was amazingly well seasoned. Will come back to explore more of the menu. Thanks for the service again guys!
Great pasta. Had 3 different mains. All tasty. Service was friendly. Waitress knew her dishes and could describe them to us very well. Will definitely be going back.
Such an amazing place, good vibes as soon as you sit at the table. Went there for two nights in a row: the first day I ordered the Fetuccine al Ragù, the pasta cooked perfectly and a ragù that felt like home 10/10, this with a glass of Pinot Grigio, one of my favourite wines. The second night I ordered a focaccia with a Prosecco and the ravioli, all of that amazing, finishing with an amazing dessert. Food 10/10 Place 10/10 Staff 10/10 If you are around you must try this place
