Avoid: unreliable and always try to sell you what you don’t need, visited for an emergency, got charged and then I was asked to book a checkup so that I can be referred. Oh wait the emergency visit don’t count!!! They failed to diagnose my son for over 1 year now. I will be looking for a different dental practice. I have had 2 appointments cancelled in a row didn’t book another one in the end and now my son’s a month in advance! So appointment was meant to be for July but they called in June and cancel appointment with earliest available date with same dentist for October! Just terrible. Overall experience there hasn’t been great either way. If you are looking for a reliable practice I suggest Hitchin dental. They are great.

I visited as an emergency couldn’t get in my my dentist due to post covid delays and the dentist sorted my problem. Whilst I was in the chair she advised me I needed a root canal and she’d like to replace all my old fillings. I was concerned as this would be very expensive treatment and decided to go back to my original dentist for him to examine me. After that examination his conclusion was no treatment needed! He certainly wouldn’t consider replacing all my fillings. I’m disgusted and definitely wouldn’t recommend this practice.
Impatient service. Have to try several times for calls to be pick up, they are rush to hang up the phone when I still need to cancel an appointment.
Absolutely brilliant service from the dentist Denisa, so professional and very calming, possibly one of the best dentists I have seen. The dental nurse Kelsi sorry I'm not sure how it's spelled was very attentive and clearly had pride in what she did. And the two girls on the reception, Roisin, and I didn't catch the other receptionist name unfortunately, they were ever so professional the waiting room was clean and very welcoming. Booked in for some private treatment going forward, very comfortable with this dental practice. Well done team.
Originally I have been wowed by this dentist. Me and my child had been using this surgery for over a decade and the south african dentist we used to see was an amazing dentist and did amazing work I recommend them to family. I haven't needed any work done in years, granted, however my daughter had continued to attend the surgery. When I tried to book an appointment due to some recent sensitivity issues with a tooth I was told I had been dropped from the NHS books and if I wanted to be seen I had to return as a private patient even though my child is still a patient there. I reluctantly did this however to find out my original dentist that I had no longer worked there. The dentist I saw was pleasant enough but I immediately felt the difference of being a private patient as walking out of there with thousands of pounds of dental work ringing in my ears was still swirling, even all these additional charges like for xrays etc which I wasnt prepared for so had to decline when in my appointment, I haven't been able to return due to the fear of the limitless unclear costs. I have tried to call the reception and ask if they could admit me as an NHS patient again but was denied. I am a single young mum and I take care of my teeth and only go to the dentist when necessary due to costs so I do really feel I have been let down by this dental surgery to have been discarded like this. I really hope some availability will open in the future for more NHS patients as they are a fabulous surgery otherwise.
I cannot fault this Dental Practice one bit! They are the best, friendliest and without a doubt, the most supportive team of healthcare professionals that you could ask for! They looked after me and my children this morning and made our visit as pleasant and pain free as possible! I have been a patient with this practice for some years and they really look after us! Very professional and lovely staff. Dentists go above and beyond with their care and treatment... I felt very safe and in the best of hands at all times. My dentist Dr Jacques is very friendly and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
I have been seeing Adrian Jacques at this practice for over a year now and he is hands down the best dentist I have ever seen. He is knowledgeable and is able to convey it in a way that I fully understand the complexities of what he does. The treatment and care has been first class and I would thoroughly recommend Adrian. ... I actually live 30 miles away from the practice he is that good!
Absolutely brilliant dental practice. I normally get very nervous going to appointments, but they're such a friendly team here I feel completely at ease. My regular dentist is Denisa and she is very thorough and honest. I can't recommend her highly enough.
