they don't seem to know that photography is not a crime, if you point a camera to them they panic and obsess about your ID, while no crime is committed, if you point it at a industrial site and security complains, then they are there in 10 minutes. they are good at protecting Beagle puppies for research and torture, they come with 100 officers so they can push protesters aside so business can continue. but if you call for help, according other reviews it's sub minimal.
After watching the video of an assault or common assault at least and they won't do anything about it. Where is the protect and sevre? I'm sure if I told a police officer I was going to cut their face off the conversation wouldn't be the same. I would of scored 0 if possible.
Pulling up at a car park which has a completely redundant barrier at the entrance gave a good indication of the quality of the accommodation that awaited me. The welcome desk was cramped and dated. When taken to my suite I immediately noticed the contrast between that and of Kettering. It was dirty. Really dirty. I had to spend the day there so I tried to make it as bearable as possible. Unfortunately the walls were a flat white so it wasn’t possible to play any of the games which were played at Kettering. I had a brief tour of another part of reception on the way to what they affectionately call the interview room, I saw another resident who was clearly distressed at the disappointing establishment too. Overall my experience in Parkside was not a good one and I’d certainly not recommend it. On a positive note, the men behind the front desk who clocked me in and out were bloody great. I’d rate this accommodation at one star * and only because it is not possible to leave zero stars.
Absolutely shocking, if you have a issue you need the police for, don’t even bother. So unhelpful and rude. A crime is about to go unnoticed due to their lack of help. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Got arrested in town. I was initially really upset as I didn't want to spend the next 9 hours in a cell, but my fears were soon put to rest as I was so warmly welcomed by all arresting officers and staff. As they showed me to my room, I couldn't help notice the en suite toilet and rustic bedding. What a delight! The food wasn't as bad as my stay at shepherds bush police station so thumbs up there! I also got to see a doctor, and upon checkout they already had my court date set! Beautiful! Absolutely recommend x
I'm so impressed by the staff at this station. My bike was stolen from my property, which is fairly common for the area, but the station took time to take down all the details and investigate it thoroughly. It was then tracked down on a Gumtree advert, and the police seized it and returned it to me. They were incredibly helpful, phoning at least ten times to check details and to offer advice. Even though bike theft is common in Cambridge, they took the offence seriously and kept a detailed account of the theft. Very happy to be reunited with my bike and very grateful for their diligent service!
Very helpful and highly professional members of staff and extremely patient officers. Respectful, inclusive and considerate of vulnerabilities of offenders. Sexist and racist PREVENT officers though -am not sure if Cambridge PREVENT is affiliated with this police station but have put it here since there is nowhere else to provide a feedback on PREVENT making sure your voice has been heard! Do not accept to meet up with them without a third party present because they, deliberately or not, will trigger your anger preferring you to be a criminal than helping with peace and reconciliation! Don't become their victim.
Bike was stolen with a lock on, on a cctv area. I left the building feeling that its my fault that I didnt know the serial number or hadnt registered in the whatever safety list. I think it is really bad that this is so common probably the biggest criminal activity in Cambridge and they will still tell you in your face that they wont bother looking at CCTV nor look for the suspect, because its a long time frame. I mean, are they really that busy? Fastforward button?
They should shut this police station . We went there to report our car being vandalized at The Beehive Centre in full daylight with people coming and going whilst we were taking back a defective item . The person we spoke to was rude, bored, uninterested and patronising and suggested that was not our worthwhile reporting it to the insurer. There was no interest whatsoever in the case nor any offer to look at any cctv although the station was extremely quiet at the time.
Food great. Staff very friendly but no pool. I thought there would be a swimming pool. I understand that they have crimes to solve but honestly it would be nice to go for a dip and a cocktail.
