I have had the privilege to be a care assistant at Parkhouse Grange for roughly 5 years now, and it has truly been an incredibly rewarding experience.nAs a care assistant at Parkhouse Grange I have seen firsthand how committed our team is to providing exceptional care.nnWe treat every resident like family, ensuring they feel respected, valued, and supported at all times. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff who were genuinely warm and welcoming. The home itself is well-maintained and thoughtfully designed, creating a comfortable and homely atmosphere for the residents.The caregivers at parkhouse grange are truly dedicated to their work. They not only provide excellent medical care but also take the time to engage with the residents, ensuring they feel valued and cared for. It was heartwarming to see the staff interacting with the residents, participating in activities, and communicating with residents.
I have been working at parkhouse grange for a little over a year now. It was my first job in any type of care environment so when I started I was terrified to say the least. From the start I was supported by not only management but all the other care staff too. They showed me how to provide quality care for the residents with adequate and patience. I cannot thank them enough, we are like a close family here and strive with giving people a place to feel comfortable and meet all their needs and wants. I could not recommend parkhouse grange enough, this is both if you're looking for a job or if you’re looking for somewhere to place a loved one.
Amazing care home with amazing staff, always go above and beyond for their residents. The staff are all dedicated to their profession and work hard to achieve the best outcome for those living in the home.
My Mum has been a resident at Parkhouse Grange P.G. for over 3 months now. I must say placing her into residential care is probably one of the hardest things I have ever had to do emotionally, as I knew my Mum never wanted to go into care. However, for reasons I will not go into, it became the only option. Thanks to a great Social Worker and the efficiency of the staff at Parkhouse Grange, the admission process couldn't have been easier. I visit my Mum regularly and have seen how she has improved in many ways. She has no idea where she is but she is extemely well looked after. I give 'P.G.' 5 stars because that is what it deserves. They give 5* care and have 5* quality, caring staff who are absolutely wonderful. They are efficient, patient, understanding, caring, professional and have a sense of humour. I cannot praise them enough for what they do in what must be a demanding and challenging role. From the laundry staff, domestic staff, through to Management, they are wonderful. The premises are spotlessly clean and the laundry is done daily. I sometimes read the dining room menus and am so impressed by what is on offer, all of which seems to be prepared on site. There is also a variety of entertainment for the residents to enjoy should they wish. My Mum is definitely into the singing and dancing activities. The staff went to great lengths to provide a festive and fun atmosphere at Christmas and the Christmas menu would probably match a 5* hotel. So, anyone concerned about placing a loved one in care, need not worry, should they be admitted to Parkhouse Grange. I can't thank them enough for their care and patience.
