This is our only community resource. While it often has many things going on for groups, a warm space, adult learning groups a monthly market etc, it's vastly under used. This is mostly due to the venue needing an over due refurbishment. The main hall is dark and dreary with the curtains and blinds falling to bits from sun rot. I'm a weekly visitor as this is the place for our wee mental health group, and at least the main entrance seating area is brighter than most of the rooms.
What a welcoming venue. Brought 2 little ones along to the ceilidh, it was such a lovely afternoon. The girls enjoyed joining in with the dancing and were delighted to get a capri sun drink and some shortbread too. Thanks for brightening up a wet and miserable Wednesday during our easter holidays.
Bigger than it looks from the outside.nnIdeal for indoor markets as a few different rooms of varying sizes
We three amigos are the RC dudes.. and we recently went to the park gate community centre to enter into the RC scale Scotland event.. and it was brilliant! Came in 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the crawling event.. seems spacious so would recommend for events
Great community hub but really misses having the wee cafe there now.
