. Very, very lovely — professional, but also friendly. Very good food, and an all-round good place to go when you’re right in the middle of nowhere and stuck for somewhere to eat. It’s definitely worth it as well; they really put love into their food.nnHere’s a picture of a cake I got from there. It was double chocolate hazelnut with actual red cherries and other really nice ingredients in it. It was like one big brownie chocolate block — absolutely gorgeous nnThat’s why I’m giving it a five-star review. Their breakfast is really nice as well.
Absolutely lovely experience at Parkend Village Cafe! The food is always fresh, well-presented, and really tasty – the breakfast was spot on today, with perfectly cooked sausages, mushrooms, bacon and a generous portion of beans. The addition of fresh avocado was a nice touch, and everything felt good quality. Great portion size for the price!nnThe tea was great too, and it’s those little details like the cute teapot and friendly atmosphere that make it stand out. Service was welcoming, friendly and relaxed, making it a really nice place to sit and enjoy a proper breakfast.nnWould definitely recommend if you’re in the area – a cosy, friendly café that gets the basics right and then some. Will be coming back!
I almost don’t want to write a review as it’s hard to get a table here as it is! But then I reminded myself that I’m only on holiday in the nearby Whitemead Forest Park once a year, so….nnWe’ve been coming here while on holiday for the past few years and it has never disappointed. The food is freshly cooked by someone who knows what good food is, with a reassuringly limited menu, so everything we’ve had is tried and tested and delicious!nnThe ‘specials’ board has had cauliflower cheese on it for the last couple of years and it’s no wonder why… it’s consistently delicious.nnLovely cakes and coffee as well.nnShout out to the motivated, cheerful and attentive team for keeping up such high standards.nnReview by James’ wife
Great spot!nnThe shop is filled with convenient products and essentials as well as locally made goods.nnThe cafe is nicely decorated, reasonably priced and does a great breakfast! Just wished they had hashbrowns, my only critique. Staff were nice and friendly.nnThey have used the space really well!
Lovely little gem in the heart of the forest with good priced breakfasts and hot drinks. Very friendly staff with a smile. I found this very handy to stop in for a few hours while my car was having tyres fitted and caught up on work in the meantime. Thankyou for your outstanding service and food!
