The creek is beautiful and clean, the playground is great for kids, and the bathrooms are new and super nice!
Very nice small park a long the creek with walking trails and clean restrooms. Also, dog friendly.
Latemorning, I caught a couple of medium size native brown trout on mini crankbaits. Waded about a mile until I reached the second bridge near Pine Rd, and then walked back to the park entrance. Early mornings are more productive
Lost for words. I love nature and I love this park. Lighting or a truck took out the sign and tree. Kinda mad at that, but what to do. The trails dip down and level off going toward the yellow breeches creek there. Basically plateauing and running parallel for a while making it ideal for a good hangout, barbecuing, friends, family, fishing.
I almost don't want to review this park because it's so quiet and nice, and I want to selfishly keep it to myself! There's a pavilion for picnics and a really tall playground for my climbers. Our family loves "exploring" the short trails and walking through the creek behind the park because it's shallow and not tremendously rocky.
I always find peace and beauty.
Nice little quiet place to take the kids. We normally take our fast food dinner there and sit under the pavilion. Kids play and then a walk by the creek. Sometimes the kids get in too.
We are visiting from Wyoming, our Duke had a blast!!!
Excellent place to fish the yellow breeches. Port a John's are sometimes nasty.
Very nice place to fish or have a picnic lots of open area good place to let dogs and kids run free
