Absolutely amazing Paul his wife and crew are so hands on and you get so involved with the animals. You can feed alot of the wildlife and watch some amazing shows! Will definitely be back and highly recommend to others please come visit. They have no help from charities and also have peacocks around close enough to make you jump!!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
What an amazing day out we've just had. Paul and his team are so knowledgeable and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The children age 7, 13 & 14 all loved it, from feeding the Raccoons and petting the Skunks to watching the birds dance to Radio Gaga by Queen. The range of animals is fantastic and it's so much more personal and close up than other similar zoos and at around £35 for a family of 5 it represents excellent value for money, and with fingers crossed Otters, Sloths and much more due to arrive in coming months we will definitely be back before long !
A great animal park, with a variety of animals to look at. What we really really enjoyed were the animal activities that they have here. Feeding the camel's is great fun, petting the guinea pigs too, and the flying demonstration with the owl's is fantastic. What also sets it apart is the fact you can always pet the tortoises and the peacocks are allowed to wander about all through the park. I would recommend the park to anyone with young kids/grandkids.
What a lovely day out it wasn't massive so I was able to complete the walk around I use a stick and found it easy to navigate. There was lots of different animals that were all out and easy to view. Some that you could feed with a sheet to tell you which ones. The Parrots were my favourite like many others. Friendly staff little gift shop and w/c
A must for the kids. Bird show good though if you don't like birds don't go to show as a very large owl does get close. Thoroughly enjoyed it and so did my grandchildren. Reasonable price too.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Wow, affordable, beautiful and most of all the animals are clearly loved and looked after. The staff are all so friendly and informative. Recommend this place anytime of the year! I took a 3 and 9 year old and both loved it.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
We booked for our three kids to do the meerkat experience and they all loved it. Weather was poor when we arrived so they had an indoor enclosure to do it and was wonderful. 8 people in total doing the experience. Never felt rushed or that the meerkats were not enjoying it. The meerkats get fed and treated well. They climb up on you, snuggle you, climb on your shoulders or head. Even went inside my son's jumper. Need to rebook so me and my wife can have a turn. Rest of the park is well presented with a nice range of animals. On a previous visit we saw the bird show that is great as well. To visit without seeing one of the displays or do an experience there would probably be an hour to hour and a half. Little gift shop as you leave as well. It's clear to see that they care about all the animals and always look to improve the locations for them.
Large car park , nice cafe and discount shop on site. A lovely collection of animals and staff were so friendly. We was encouraged to meet the animals and feed them. Enjoyable afternoon out.
Went on a rainy day so a lot of the animals weren’t outside, the donkeys and the goats was adorable! But, I have to say. The guinea pigs are very poorly taken care of. The cage bars are far too wide to the point one of the pigs got it’s head stuck and when I told the owner, he didn’t seem to care. Speaking to him he was very careless and had terrible customer service. Just seemed grumpy. The pigs didn’t have hay, or water. Maybe it was just a bad day, but I dunno. The girls on work experience was absolutely lovely. One of them took the time to listen and speak to us, and the lady who was in the shop was also lovely. Beautiful animals there though, that we did see. :
Amazing family experience, great value for money. The animals are extremely well cared for. My favourite animals to see was the Ring Tailed Lemurs and the tri-colored squirrel.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
