After 25 years of zero dental treatment due to my abhorrent fear of injections I was very anxious about facing the damage I had caused to my teeth. A previous visit to a different practice a few month ago did nothing to alleviate my concerns as I was dismissed without treatment and advised it was all cosmetic and would need to pay to rectify. I decided to try again at this practice, and I am so happy I did. From the first check up Mr S Elmeniawy Put me at instant ease and was both compassionate and understanding. He advised me he could give me the treatment I needed, and the appointment was arranged within the week. I had my treatment yesterday. 5 composite fillings with zero pain and all completed within 25 minutes. I could not believe how little discomfort I was in throughout the full procedure. I am so happy with the results and can smile for first time in years. Back in a few weeks for a deep clean and I'll never avoid the dentist again. Thank you so much Mr Elmeniawy I am so grateful.
I had my roots taken out without killing it first, which I had never seen before. Now, after some time, I'm with a temporary filling, and I'm in a lot of pain, I have massive swelling. I went to a private clinic, and after the x-ray, the doctor said he had never seen such awful work done. Have massive infection under the temporary filling. Never coming back. The dentist doesn't know what he is doing except removing teeth that can be saved with the right skills. He does not deserve even one star.
Sadly, 0 stars is not able to be left. I had a Seizure just before my Appointment, my Partner rang to let them know and see if they could support rearranging my Appointment as I was having a seizure and unresponsive. The Receptionist instead told him that I was blacklisted from the Surgery, not to call again and that I would never be able to make an appointment there. When he asked why rightfully so, he was told that it was Practice Policy. It would be great if this Practice looked into Disability Discrimination.
I wish I could leave a 0 star review as this dental practice is disgraceful. Unprofessional staff from reception to a dentist who has no people skills at all. I paid for a large filling just before Christmas which came out within 5 days leaving me in pain and with sharp edges. I rang up to get an emergency appointment only to be met by a rude, uninterested receptionist who basically stated they wouldn’t see me until 2 weeks time and I’d have to take it or leave it. I again explained I was in pain and I’d just had it done by them a few days earlier but the receptionist showed no interest and just kept asking if I wanted to wait the 2 weeks. This left me having to pay to go elsewhere as an emergency patient. I’ve just called Park Lane to see if I could be refunded for the shoddy work and the fact I’ve had to pay twice now only to be told no as I should of waited to get seen by them. Yeah I’ll wait 2 weeks in pain. I advised I now wished to leave the practice to which all I got was “ ok, I’ll archive your records “ no attempt to rectify things at all. Honestly please find somewhere else and save your time and money. Disgraceful practice.
I attended on Wed 17 May and was treated by my dentist Mr E Jones Samuel and his dental assistant. Treatment was excellent - broken tooth fixed at same time as routine checkup. Everything explained and options given. They were very professional, kind and did a first class job. Receptionist excellent also. Surgery is a little tatty I must say and outside is awful, but treatment in my experience has been spot on. Thank you.
I have never been ill treated like I was this morning by the surgery’s receptionists whose unconscious bias was at the pick . I was totally ignored even my greetings was not answered. Truth be told one of the receptionists was on phone while the other one was just typing away ignoring me. Even when the second receptionist finished her call she find it more convenient to talk with another male colleague of hers that came in . All three totally ignored me chatting away until a white older man came in and immediately they called him to attend to him and he had to point at me to them as the first in line and that was when I got attended acknowledged. I felt pained and complained about their attitude and treatment of me which made me feel my being black could have contributed to the way I was treated to the Dentist who attended to me. He apologised and promised that this will be reported to the manager and I should expect a call today . I am a paying patient and paid £65 today for a crack that is happening the third time . Well its almost midnight and no call has come in . Wondering if the whole practice is racially biased??? So if you’re a black person going in , better watch out.
Thus was my surgery for years never a problem yet the new staff are totally unprofessional and rude, never again.
After a long 14 month set of treatment with Dr. Andrew Lightfoot I am delighted with the end product, I have never been a big fan of going to any dentist after bad experience's elsewhere but Dr. Lightfoot and all the staff here made me feel very comfortable can't say enough about these wonderful people they have change my life thank you all so much
My family and I use this dental practice and have done so for years. We've always found the service and aftercare to be excellent. Mr Lightfoot is our dentist within the practice and he is brilliant. He kept seeing patients throughout the pandemic putting himself personally at risk. Highly recommended.
My partner and I been going to this practice and their other practice for routine checks and cleaning every 6month for 3years now. Very welcoming, professional and thanks to their careful monitoring and experience ,Dr Iman has managed to save my partner implant and keep it under control. Even though it's 50 min drive away from us worth the trip EVERYTIME . Highly recommend
