Park House

Mum was put in this home to convalesce after an operation and it was an awful experience for both her, and us as a family. The stench of urine was in everything and even made her clothes tacky. I had a full shower after every visit. Management was poor, covid checking on arrival non existent and Mums medication had run out and so was not given. She was not washed and nobody helped her brush her teeth. Food arrived cold! Sadly she had to stay in for her 80ish birthday and though we passed with balloons and gifts it was totally ignored and not acknowledged by Management. Though it is a beautiful building externally, if you care about your relative I certainly do not recommend.

My mum liz has gone to stay at park house She has the start of vascular dementia. It has been the most heartbreaking time of our lives ! I have been a wreck ! The staff and management at park house have been amazing! Supportive, caring and truly loving! That was just to me . Watching them with my mum is like watching Angel's looking after her! I have worked in the care industry for 30 years you never think it will be your mum ! Thankyou park house! Happy new year Stay safe! Love Jo xx
