A lovely bistro next to the canal. This is just outside Linlithgow. So you can enjoy a bite to eat on your walk or bike ride. Lovely views and dog friendly They have an outside seating area which is lovely on a nice day. Food was fresh and staff were friendly. Loved their mixed leaf salad which was fresh with a nice dressing and pomegranate. This is an excellent lunch spot for anyone. We will be visiting again. Highly recommended
We were absolutely delighted to find this gem of a restaurant. Let me start with the negative, we ordered rack.of lamb but the waitress ordered lamb burger. So it was sent back. She fully accepted it was her fault, which was nice. Nevertheless, when the lamb came out it was worth the wait. The food was lovely as was the décor. If we stay in the area again, we will cirtainly use this place as our main place to eat. After the meal we walked along the canal. So the whole experience was delightful.
First time visiting. The food was delicious. We had the Buffalo chicken burger and the classic burger with a side of classic fries. Loved them! So tasty. and well seasoned. Is it wrong that we are already thinking about our next visit and what we will have!? Great prices too and very welcoming friendly efficient staff. Thank you!
Broccoli and Stilton soup with warm crusty roll excellent, open sandwich with chicken and mango and cheese with a drizzle of mango sauce with Rocket very nice. Dessert was Raspberry and White Chocolate Roulade with cream on the side, which was Fabulous. Staff very friendly.
Went here for lunch with a group of six people with various different diets. Was impressed that the menu was able to satisfy everyone. I had the vegan powerfood salad which was an excellent choice. Very friendly service. Would come again
Just had breakfast with my fiancé here on her birthday. The venue is beautiful and you can see the care that has been put into creating a pleasant and relaxed area, the music is perfectly volumed for conversation. The food was fantastic, we only went for the breakfast sandwiches, but just the quality of the ingredients for the price was wonderful. You can taste how much care and attention they put in to the food. Staff where very pleasant and attentive. Overall, fantastic breakfast place, we highly recommend.
Lovely lunch. The cajun chicken was perfectly spiced and the accompanying dip was excellent. Lovely chips. Steak pie had excellent, large, fat-free chunks of beef with very nice gravy. Service was v. good. Didn’t have to wait long for our food. Would come again.
Great place for a bite to eat and a drink. Excellent choice of menu bacon farmhouse burger was fantastic. Cosy and warm on a cold day. Staff were excellent. Very attentive. Can’t wait to go again.
It's lovely inside but by 2pm there is limited everything, they shut early in afternoon and then open up later but they only stay open till 7pm. This is a real shame as they would make a fortune in evening dining if they stayed open longer. It's lovely inside but is only open a short time so many don't get to experience it. My only bugbear about the place. The muffins are great.
