"At Greene King Pub & Grill we're obsessed about our grills. We've built our menu around quality char-grilled steak, chicken, fish, vegetarian dishes and burgers, plus a choice of pub classics that everyone loves. All our steaks are grass-fed beef, aged to perfection, making them wonderfully tender, lean and full of flavour."

Nice place to have a relaxing meal. Never too busy and staff are nice. I think the foods a tad over priced but not ridiculous. The food itself can be hit or miss but I intend to try more of the menu over time
Had Katsu chicken, it was lovely. Definitely recommend this dish!
Reasonable menu. I had a steak pie with chips and mushy peas which I thoroughly enjoyed. Others in our party had mixed grills or gammon steaks. All were well cooked. There is a decent dessert menu and prices are generally very good. Service was good, friendly and attentive. Some of the seats etc are quite worn but still comfy enough. I believe this restaurant is much better in every way than the millhouse.
Simon the manager is the most friendly and welcoming member of staff we have experienced. We feel like old friends and he makes such a massive effort with our 1 year old son, who smiles constantly at him. The food is great and fantastic value. Has a family atmosphere and great for children. Would recommend highly
Very quiet place for Saturday lunchtime. Dining is in fairly private booths with benches. Food is pretty good. Portions are adequate for those with a moderate appetite. Service efficient, and friendly without being obtrusive. Vegetarians and vegans fairly well catered for, with several options available no non-dairy milk for coffee, however.
Don't think I'll be back. Sorry but when your supervisor is telling staff to drop their attitude, when people don't have an attitude it's off putting. Meals were paid in full and not from the savers menu. When they came they were the same size of portions you get when you use the savers menu. Or use a meal and a movie deal. Busy times can be stressful but don't use your frustration on other members of staff. Young lad that served us was kind, pleasant, and couldn't say a bad thing about him. Meat from the Balmoral Chicken was slushy. Due to microwaving meat from frozen? Not sure as I don't work in the kitchen. Guys on floor were fine. Woman supervisor was the one with the attitude. Been here a few times without problem. But I don't need to hear that when I'm out. It's not kids play. Pictures are from older review.
First time back in a long time. Felt a little lost upon entry with little ordering direction. Service was okay but all around us service for others was really slow as we tucked into our sweet whilst others waited for their main meal. Our visit was enjoyable enough and meal was tasty. Score 7 out if 10.
Had the utter misfortune to reserve a table on Saturday for 5 people when waiting on others to arrive I was at bar and the table was given away to someone else. We were then offered another table in the corner out of the road where we were ignored for a good 20 minutes before our order was eventually taken the pub was not busy so expected service to be quite quick as we had a event to go to. But no none came near us for 50 minutes not even to say your food will be late or anything so we had no option but to leave not having eaten even being there for over a hour waiting I can honestly say this is the worst service I have ever had and will never be back to your establishment and will be telling everyone the shocking experience we had with yous.
Not the best experience There was a lady and her elderly mother waiting to be seated in front of us. The server asked them if it was a table for two and walked off a rate far beyond the ladies mother's capability. The place wasn't busy take the time to walk with your customer to their seats, don't stand at the table looking like you have some where better to be. After ordering, I had to send food back because requested no sauce, food came back after 2 minutes looking like it had been wiped and just thrown into another bowl. We got our food after 2 tables that ordered at least 5 minutes after us similar food. We were the only table out of the 4 in our facinity not to get a check back. There was no pepper grinder on our table, the salt grinder didn't work so had to go to another table to get one. Trivial things I know, but they mount up when your having a bad experience. The only good thing was one of the waitress that served us said she had only worked there 2 days. She may have been the reason for the mistake with the sauce, but she was the only member of staff who seemed to want to be there smiled and had a personality and for me that overules most of the unplesantries of the visit. Personally I would not visit again, food was not great service and atmosphere was worse.
Service was terrible waited over an hour for our main courses which were look warm when they came. There was no excuse for the slow service as the restaurant wasn't even busy. This is not the first time this happened were there last month for my Grandson's birthday and the service was dire! This used to be a very good restaurant. Need to pick up their game a bit. In fairness they did comp the starters and our wine, but that doesn't solve the problem. Will be a long time before we are back.
