The best place ever to pass an afternoon eating nice food while playing tabletop games. Or to spend a day nerding out with Magic, roleplay games or war games!
Warboar Board Game cafe is a wonderful hidden gem in Bromley. The staff are really on point and helpful, they have seemingly hundreds of games to play including really obscure ones I remember playing as a kid and the food + drink from the cafe is great too. They also have a store where you can buy games too King of Tokyo is great lol
Fantastic environment for gaming, dates and nights out. Only thing that could improve the experience is cheaper food and drinks as a little pricey for what they are. Also really friendly community that supports a wide range of games as well as age groups so definitely something for everyone. As for the staff they are helpful, friendly and absolutely fantastic, I would definitely recommend paying a visit.
Great venue whether you're downstairs in Paradice enjoying a new boardgame over coffee or a beer, choosing a new game to take home or upstairs war gaming with some new mates.
Coolest board game café I’ve ever been to. Massive library of games and super reasonable prices. Plus they sell beer! Also very welcoming to war gamers and role players alike. The staff know their stuff and the customer service is impeccable. Definitely has the Friendly Local Gaming Store thing going for it but plus extras! Finally, it’s super close to the train station lol
Great concept cafe with huge character. I gave this the highest rating mainly for the potential and concept of this cafe/gaming space. Ok it’s clearly popular for serious gamers, which includes a wide range of ages and faces...it’s an unusual mix. However me and my daughter felt more than welcome and the huge game wall u can utilise for a small charge kept us busy for hours. Literally hundreds to play with. Service was friendly but not in a super polished way. The place could do with upping the food and drink offerings, and maybe a little spruce up but overall it’s a welcoming social space that I would encourage parents to use.
We love to go here and spend the day playing board games. Just £2 each and you can play as many as you like. The staff are friendly and helpful and they also serve food and alcohol which is a bonus although the always seem really rushed and understaffed. Great for family or group of friends alike. They also do events if you check the website and social media. My favourite place in Bromley!
Fantastic little gaming cafe! Very friendly staff and a huge variety of well-priced games. They regularly host events for various games Magic: The Gathering, X-Wing, Warhammer etc., and attract a large crowd of avid gamers. They also have a café that serves hot and cold food, and a variety of hot/cold, soft and alcoholic drinks. It's a little out of the way, so you may miss it, but it's well worth the visit if you're into games. They have a fantastic board game library, so you don't even need to bring your own games!
Unusual shop/cafe hybrid that's a great place to try out or buy a board game, but a slightly less great place to relax and have a drink. I've been half a dozen times now and always enjoyed myself; it would probably only take slicker table service and a few soft furnishings to push my rating up to five stars.
My local game store. Great place. It's £2 a player for seating downstairs, gets hella busy during the daytime at the weekend, otherwise you should be fine. Upstairs has the more serious shizz, MTG, tabletop model games, etc. The staff are awesome and the vibe is very welcoming, no punchlines here, highly recommended
