Friendly staff and a good selection of food options at reasonable prices. Good space for car parking as well. The food was tasty. Only downside is the restaurant could do with an upgrade as it was looking a bit tired.Food: 4/5
Stayed a few times for training where it's customary to consume two or ten pints. A Nelson has always been less than a deep sea diver, and a Twin Carburetti marginally over. Can never go wrong with a Premier breakfast either. Spin em in son.
Went for late breakfast on a Sunday. We had booked so that they knew we were coming and still there was no pastries, very limited juices. And the hit breakfast was like warm at best. Whilst we was getting food a customer asked if there was any more white break for toast and she was told 'no we have run out' another said is there any more croissants and again was abruptly told no. If a business is going to serve a specific menu of food until a certain time you would expect that menu to be available or to be informed when you arrive. Paying on arrival is not an issue, but if we had known the limited menu choices we would have just gone somewhere else. For these reasons we will not be returning.
I was expecting slow service for Mother’s Day, but our table was booked for 230pm, & waited ages for the food. The chips were overcooked, some of the chicken underneath was hard & the medium steak was actually well done on the mixed grill . And the bacon was very overcooked on the smothered chicken. Then the dessert came with custard instead of ice cream which was requested during the order. No staff asked if anything was ok. It was impossible to flag any staff down, because the table was away from the main walk way near the window and staff were rushing around. I have been to 3 other brewers Faye’s and never received food and service like I did at the Papermill in High Wycombe. Finally left the restaurant at 4pm.
Went for a family meal today, my nan and partner had carvery which was a disappointment. My nan and her husband had to reheat there carvery due to it being cold and partner didnt eat his. Ran out of meat and it was about 2pm. The front of house staff were amazing and did the best they could with the situation. Jack our server and those behind the bar were helpful but definitely disappointed with the food.
We stopped in for lunch, had the carvery. Really lovely food, the staff were really helpful, friendly and professional. Food was excellent value for money. The views out of the window at the hills really were great, it's a fantastic location. Good value. Will go againFood: 5/5
Came here for my birthday should have went elsewhere. Starters ok after waiting 45 minutes. Wasn’t that busy when I first got in and people who turned up after me was being served food before. I ordered just a prawn cocktail. Main was horrible didn’t eat hardly anything on the plate apart from chips. Didn’t bother with desert because of wait times. Server was great and apologetic. Will never return ruined my birthday evening, considering it was the first time I had been out for an evening in 3 years.
The staff are very friendly, especially Evie, Karen . Evie was very helpful with a table that had a child sat at. 5 stars for the staff, keep up the positive vibe The chef Dave is amazing The breakfast was amazing and delicious Overall, it is a very clean and inviting atmosphere.
Lovely restaurat. The restaurant and toilet facilities were clean and tidy, the staff were polite and friendly. Service was a little slow but the food was definitely worth the wait. Food was lovely no problems at all Parking: Parking is free, when you enter the restaurant you put your registration in on the tablet and you get 3 hours free parking
Came out for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. Very good atmosphere. Great service from Karen. Super lovely and accommodating. We had two mains and then a few side dishes as a third meal. All of us enjoyed our food and will be back soon *thumbs up*. Vegetarian options: Thai green curry was very good, would definitely recommend, very large portion. Parking: Decent amount of parking, roughly 3 disabled spaces available. Wheelchair accessibility: Good wheelchair access. Easy to get manual wheelchair under tables. Easy to access via ramp at the rear near disabled spaces.
