Went into Islington paperchase and had the most wonderful experience! Was given help immediately and shown exactly what I needed, which was a planner. Told the girl asian I assume was really helpful and really good at her job. We had a good laugh and I left the store feeling very happy and satisfied with what I purchased and the overall experience!
Like the stationery products, mostly cute designs with bright colours. Shop is a good size, but quite thin so moving around the aisles can be hard when it's busy, especially if you're in a wheelchair or using a mobility aid. Staff all seem concentrated at the tills, not walking about store, so if you need help with something you kinda have to queue to get their attention for help. Queue can also sometimes block aisles/way out of store.
Paperchase staff is always wonderful, but not the one I bumped into in the Angel store, Lizifa may not be the right spelling, very unprofessional and zero costumer service skills. I told her I am a teacher and I if I could get the disccount - Paperchase offers a teacher disccount. She said she needed to see an id as a proof, and I told her I do not have one, she also asked for an email from work I told her I do not have a corporative email address. I offered to show her a payslip where she would be able to see my nursery school name but she did not accepted it. I am a frequent Paperchase client and I have NEVER found myself in this situation, staff have always been so kind and helpful and had no problem to show a different proof as a teacher. Is that how we support front workers? Or is this just an unprofessional staff? I am so disappointed
It's a cute little store with a lot to offer! The staff are always pretty cheery, the cards are cute/ hilarious, the merchandise they have is rather novel and interesting. I always enjoy coming into their store!
Paperchase are a long established greeting cards and stationery supplies chain of shops that market mid to high end products. Ideal for important life occasions like christenings, funerals and weddings, here you can purchase all the paraphernalia associated with wedding organisation in one place almost. The range of pens, pencils and accessories is not as extensive as a pure stationers supplier like Ryman but tends to cover the higher end of the market here. Paperchase is then of necessity, a more pricier place than its competitors, but it's range of products is large, and you are bound to find something specific you are seeking for the special occasion that matters to you. The staff are generally polite and helpful and it is overall a nice experience to shop here on the few occasions that I have visited during each year. If you can accept the sometimes extravagant pricing of its merchandise, and maybe a fussier type of shopper, then this is the place to go to primarily for your greeting cards in the local area though there are of course cheaper alternatives such as the local Chapel Market card stall.
My 11 year old just purchased a birthday card as a surprise for me at the Islington branch - the card has £2.50 stuck on it yet they charged £3, my 11 year old questioned this and they refused to charge as the item showed! Shame paperchase if an adult had questioned it then you would have either explained why your pricing was incorrect t or charged £2.50 as shown!
Love it! Bonus card instantly from the first order. Eaay to shop and the staff is drindly. Lots of gorgeous crads and notebooks. Cool pencils & pens. Paper wraps easy to find.
Creative stationary.. greeting cards, creative gifts for mother, friends, spouse.. they also have stuff for bachelor's and spinster's party. Reasonable prices..
I worked at this location for a two years and this store was my go to birthday presents for all my colleagues and my own needs. Great collections of stuff what is always changing
Small but cute Paperchase branch. Doesn't everyone love Paperchase?
