Wow so impressed with Marija! Wishing her all the best and move up quickly as she knows what she is doing....Papa John may provide ingredients but it takes someone special to make it all work and she nailed the stuffed crust, toppings and presentation. There was also a lovely old gentleman working alongside her. Management-- take note of your great employees!
Ordered from here yesterday, phoned up after placing order to ask for the garlic and herb dip to come with the pizzas, they said that's fine, when It arrived they gave us the special dip. Pizzas turned up Cold, Hard, and with hardly any cheese on them. Will not be ordering from here again, very disappointing as I've ordered good pizzas from here in the past. Almost as if the person that made our pizzas yesterday did it with out a care at all.
Absolutely awful! Delivered Pizza was cold when it arrived, my granddaughter said it was like it had been warmed up from lunch and she was correct. The pizza was tough, not cut and we had to go over where they had tried to cut it with a pizza cutter. Hardly any cheese just tomato sauce and so dry. Hardly any garlic in the bread. We tried to eat the pizza and the bread but had to give up on both - it’s going in the bin and we now feel quite ill. Terrible experience and £30 for zero . Phoned the shop and he vaguely apologised - never ordering pizza there again! Such shame as last order great plus granddaughters birthday party for 30 was terrific but now Disgusting and no seemed to care.
Food is good, just don't order custom pizza's I very rarely order takeaway pizza because I live so far from Newbury. I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza with extra vegetables. Went to go pick it up and when I came back to go eat it, it had no BBQ Sauce or Chicken on. I rang up to get a replacement, they were happy to replace it but I have to drive back 25 mins each way to collect a new one. That's too far!! But now I have a 'verbal promise' when I come back I can get a new one. I'm not sure how that works... FYI there special garlic sauce is just really weird looking butter
"Said" the manager will never go out his way to help out, customer service is very poor. The other employees are absolutely fine and do a 100% job. There are other places to go, hopefully you'll sort this out.
A great take away Pizza point in Newbury. We had classic BBQ and Hawaiian pizza half half in a stuffed crust. Pizza was delicious.. Wish the pizza had more ingredients in it. It is reasonably sized and worth it. I would recommend this place. Thanks.
Paid for extra toppings. They happily took the money but never added the extra toppings. Pizza is also cold
What happened, Papa John's had usurped Caprino's as the pizza of choice for my family, but tonight it was dreadful, the texture of the dough was all wrong, more like bread than pizza, and the topping had a gap to the crust larger than an adolescent with a growth spurt trousers to shoes. From so good to so bad. Please sort it out guys because the last two pizzas you provided were excellent.
Food is always good from here. I order frequently and I haven’t had a bad order. When ever they run low on things I have ordered they have phoned me and given me extra of something else. Very good place with nice staff
Said was so helpfull today. We had family over and he was very patient with the big Order. Will definitely be coming back !
