The pizza is always fine, but the delivery service is shocking. Even if you order when they open at 11am, expect to be waiting up to 90 minutes for your food. The evenings are even worse, and the tracking? Completely useless and it conveniently says your food has arrived 20 minutes before it really does to avoid them having to send out apology emails with discount codes for future orders. Papa John's needs to get new management in this store ASAP.
Delivery was good - but of the four components that make a pizza two were distinctly lacking! Plenty of bread and sauce accompanied by so little cheese and topping I had to double check to make sure I had ordered the right thing. Will not be returning unfortunately.Food: 1/5
Shocking service and shocking pizza. Waited over a hour and a half. Tried many times to call the store only for my call to be rejected multiple times. Pizza finally arrived stone cold, half sliced and absolutely disgusting. Still no answer from the store.
Ordered a large ‘all the meats’ yet when it arrived it was distinctly lacking in, well, MEAT. There was so little topping that some slices were only sauce & cheese. When I called to complain, I was told they were too busy to deal with me at the moment and I was to mention someone’s name the next time I ordered to get some money off that order. It’s ok thanks. Will stick to Domino’s
What an absolute shocker of a Pizza. We placed an order by phone and collected our pizza from east reach. Got home to find our Hawaiian pizza was largely bare. Most of the pizza had no or very little topping the micro Ham was barely viable and hardly any cheese. It had been over cooked, largely because of the lack of topping and was on tasting very chewy. Are once a week treat night was not a treat. So disappointed that I returned to the East Reach store to voice my frustration at such a poor example, The guy working there agreed it was indeed a poor example and phoned his manager and also sent a picture. The manager flat refused to refund me. I was shocked as was the guy who was on shift. I don’t suppose head office will care as there are obviously plenty more people out there to forget 1 customer but I won’t be going back and I would warn anyone I was with to avoid as there are plenty of other pizza places in town.
Today's experience was the worst I have ever had with any takeaway. So bad in fact that I don't wish to relive it by writing a review, I have never in my life experienced customer service skills so poorly presented all because they get an order wrong. I have spoken to a lady from Head office and she was very nice. Hopefully she will look into this issue further, I don't want free pizza, or looking for something for free, I just ant to order and for them to get it right with zero fuss.
Really disappointed- ordered on just eat and although it arrived on time I was quite disappointed that my Pepsi cherry wasn’t there and the 2 phillys I ordered for me and my boyfriend were cold, had to heat up in microwave. Tasted delicious but I think Glastonbury papa johns do it better
Absolute moronic staff. Appalling customer service, cold pizza, appalling compliants handling. Don't even bother with this restaurant, even the manager just shouts down the phone at you. Disgusting.
First time I've ordered from here, and probably was the last as well. Pizza arrived a bit late, not horribly, but later than any other pizza place in town would have delivered. Online tracking showed my order was delivered when I haven't even received it yet ‍. The pizza was just warm, far from hot. Taste was nice, but the topping was rather interesting. I know we all trying to save money, but surely they could put more than this on. I would say for this sort of money you could get a lot better pizza pretty much anywhere else in town.
I can't begin to tell you how bad this place is.... there are plenty of takeaways nearby.... just take my word for it and go elsewhere ... the staff are equally as bad as the food.... AVOID AVOID AVOID
