Food was brilliant but staff was terrible me and my friend went with 2 young children you could see they didn't want us there Put to sit on our own asked if we could move the table down so the high chair could fit I was told no!!! Food was a rush and cleared straight away no offer of dessert or tea or coffee just the bill slapped on our table not child friendly at all I say they need the old staff back they had before they where so polite and bend over backward to help I go here often but not after the service I've had tonight
Fighting between fellow customers on another table swore infront of my young children, wasn't dealt with well by staff before police arrived, most importantly food was good but had to wait ages for it at least 2 hours! . My conclusion would be to go there for a decent take away ordered in advance but not a sit in meal.
We went here for a charity night. A close person with cancer. Meal was ok. There were 70 people there so the venue were making money too. Small portions . Grumpy staff. Very rude. Was given a really cold plate for my meal and when i asked for a warm one was given a look that could kill. Plates slambed down. I would not use this place for a charrity night as obviously tgey are not keen to do this. They alone made a fortune on drinks as they ran out of one type of larger. I will choose another place to go and raise money for a very special cause close to our hearts. Staff need training in people skills and manners.
Never again will I eat here. My partner and I went for food at 5.30 as we were the first ones there last Saturday. We ordered our food and was asked if we wanted poppadoms and chutney tray to start so we said yes. As we stated to eat this we noticed hair in one of the dips. We called waiter and told him and asked for another dip. He took the dip and mixed up with the spoon and walked into back room for 1 second and came back out with a dip. He put in on table and when I looked it had more hair than the first one. I called him to change it but kept this one and asked for a different one. The boss came to my table and asked what's the problem. I pulled out the hairs and told him I came for food not Claires accessories. He then told me that they were not hirsutism but strands of fruit. I said they are grey hairs. But before he could tell me more lies I just said forget it. It's fine i will leave that dip and not to worry. My partner and I decided to continue to drink our drink while waiting for main meal. One hour and 10 mins later we were still sat at table waiting for food. I had had enough by now so decided to leave. My partner went to pay for drinks and he was charged for Full meal. We said we hadn't eat the meal as we were still waiting and was told it's cooking. We said 5 people had been in to present food and collect food while we were waiting in an empty restaurant. He then said pay 16 piuds8for the 2 beers and hairy food. we paid but will never ever eat there again. It wasn't just haor in food but the way they respond as we was going to continue to wait for food and eat but over an hour wait in an empty restaurant is taking the piss. We then went around the corner to Zaffran Indian restaurant and was delighted with the food and service.
Great food and good service.. go here regularly. when you get to know all the waiters, they are very friendly, take and hang your coat etc.. they work hard .. give them a chance
First time i have been to panshee for a takeaway and it will be my last. Food was luke warm. Curry was like water with tough chicken and tasteless. Rice was tasteless. Tiny bhajis. Hair in my dip. Went straight in the bin. Knew I should have stuck with zafran.
Amazing food and very reasonable especially on Sunday when they have a special menu. We love the one in Skewen and the one opposite the Grand Theatre. Definitely worth another visit.
We have eaten here when it is quiet and when very busy, but the quality of the food remains excellent, together with an attentive and friendly service. Highly recommend a visit.
Nice enough food, went for Sunday buffet but ended up paying £5 for a chutney tray. Thought it was bit of a scam.. will be attending a walk up and serve yourself buffet in the future.
Had curry but found it very bland. Have been in past and was lovely so not sure if different chef etc. Update....husband been very ill with sickness and diarhia and looks like food poisoning.
