This is a gem slap bang in the centre of Dundalk that I've visited many times. Great coffee, tray bakes and the largest home made cinnamon buns I've ever encountered.... Friendly team of staff and sensible pricing. The best place to sit and watch people and the world go by. Covered seating outside so the rain doesn't stop play! Keep doing what you're doing guys repeat custom guaranteed.
Amazing lunch location in the centre of Dundalk. I had the falafel wrap and it was the tastiest falafel wrap I've ever had. I highly recommend the ice tea, I had a passion fruit one and I had to come back later to try a cherry one. Will be back here the next time I am in the area. Vegetarian options: They had a lovely vegetarian falafel wrap on the lunch menu
Lovely place and lovely staff. I went for brunch and stayed like three more hours just studying and drinking coffee outdoors. Great service, excelent coffee and the breakfast wrap I got. I woud highly recommend this place. Will definitely visit again soon.
Very friendly staff, great location. Kid friendly. Not cheap, but can't complain as everthing else good. Small cosy seating area inside. Def not good for wheelchair users as space is very tight, but I think the toilet was wheelchair accessible. More seating outside, often with parasols Only thing that bugged me last time was that people inside were allowed to hog seats etc while three of us shivered outside waiting for shelter. One guy sitting alone stored his laptop on a tbird seat at his table, another wonan put her coat and hat on a chair taking up two tables with four chairs for her & her friend. Meanwhile two tables were free but had no chairs. This was mostly the fault if seriously inconsiderate patrons - but might be something staff can also watch out for

Located at the heart of Dundalk is this special cafe with outside seatings giving you a lovely view of the fountains at the town center. The superb location is a plus indeed but that's not the only thing that makes this the go-to coffee place for me. Whether it's hanging out with a friend visiting from abroad, a Sunday coffee with my local buddies, a Monday morning pick me up brunch with my colleague, or just some quiet time on my own, this is the place I'd go to for coffee. What striked me on the second visit to this shop is that the staff actually remembers your name and what you ordered last time and it has not changed ever since. They'd remember even the small details about how you like your coffee and they would always go the extra mile to make your drink exactly the way you want it even though you are one of those pesky customers, like me. Not only the staff but the owner too, is very welcoming and friendly, and you will usually see him working around the cafe but never forgetting to smile and say hi and talk to the customers, which is one of the things which makes every visit to this place so nice. The interior is tastefully funky, with bean bags and money notes from different countries on the wall, comfy seatings, and warm, bright tones of color. You will hear Latin American music playing inside and order from a hand-written board menu. They have plenty of options when it comes to drinks and food: coffee, smoothies, juice, teas, and food like wraps, tacos, soup, paninis, omelettes, salads, porridge, granola, pancakes, waffles, etc. For food I have tried their granola and waffles, and both make a lovely breakfast. A must try is their pulled pork tacos. It is so good makes me hungry just to write about it. They have recently added a immune booster juice to their menu and I was amazed to watch they were adding apples, carrots and beets to the juicer after I ordered, there's nothing like it when you know your drink is not coming from a factory-made puree or some kind of powder or concentrates, but from real fresh fruits. And the drink is super delicious as as well. If you are in Dundalk and are hungry, thirsty, craving caffeine or just want to meet some lovely people don't think twice just go to Panama coffee and let your heart dance to salsa.

With respect to other independent coffee shops in Dundalk, Panama Coffee is exceptional. The quality of the coffee is smooth to the bottom of the cup. I'm an amateur when it comes to drinking coffee but I have no problem drinking a black americano from Panama Coffee - anywhere else, I've had to reach for milk and sugar. Their service is warm and friendly and the range of food is as enticing as their coffee selection. Panama Coffee is at the heart of the town and I'd recommend it as your main coffee stop without hesitation.
