I had bad experience in hospital and made complaint to PALS. I was very clear that I want to make an official complaint but PALS after acknowledging my complaint kept asking if I want to withdraw the complaint, to which I always replied I want to proceed. At the end I don’t feel my complaint was resolved at all. Recently I have discovered from pharmacist that medication I have been prescribed by the cardiologist in the hospital, and have been taking for 5 months, should never be prescribed together as they cancel each other. How can you trust the doctors?!!!
Worse hospital I’ve been in London. Rude nurses… doctors.. you don’t even see them. In case you think you have money pox don’t come to this hospital. All they will do is throw you in a room, tell you that someone will be with you shortly and then leave you there for hours and hours. No assistance or anyone comes for you. And if you ask the staff who’s around for any information they put on a face like you owe them something and are rude ! I’ll make sure I’ll do a very complete complaint about this service! This is not what I pay for with my tax and NI !!!
apart from saying they will get back to me on various dates which they then failed to do PALS have ignored my very serious complaint
Went in for knee surgery to Thorogood Ward recently. All of the staff were extremely kind and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, even though busy ward. They were highly professional, every process was meticulously carried out, ensuring I got the very best care from start to finish. But what impressed me was the kindness and caring, in spades, as if my welfare and recovery was their main priority, it really made me feel very safe and in the best hands. I don,t think they get enough recognition for going over and above their remit, which is clearly clinical, but the human factor is just as critical for the patient and certainly aids good recovery. This should be measured just as much as the complaints in my opinion, as the majority of the hardworking NHS staff I encountered are dedicated, hardworking and give everything to their jobs. Very well done to the team, you made my stay so much less stressful than I expected... thank you so much.
Have waited over 3 weeks then gave up for them to get in contact with me about medical negligence by a doctor. I called them 3 times on different days and every time it went to answer machine.
Terrible service, horrible waiting time, lazy staff. If u fear your life, do not go there
