After a walk we stopped here with our daughter for ice cream and drinks. Lemon meringue ice cream, OMG amazing. Don't like talking about money but the price was very good ,couldn't believe it, down our way South East it would be twice as much. Love the North East and the people. Thank you.
Immaculate little trailer and seating area. Lovely ice creams and such a lovely woman serving. We will try the coffees, pies and quiche next time, which our friends had and said were lovely. We need more little local businesses like this instead of generic chains.
We've been coming to Palominos over the summer of 2022. It's situated in the quiet village of Hawthorn and near to Hawthorn Dene, which is perfect for afternoon stroll.nnPalominos has tray bakes, quiches, pies, ice cream and cakes. The quality is excellent, i doubt you'll find better tasting pies and cakes.nnThe coffee is small batch and not cheap rubbish.nnThe owner is extremely nice and always finds time to talk.
Amazing little place to get coffee, tea, ice cream and cake before or after a lovely walk. Lady who served me was so friendly. Take cash and card payments - there is a small charge for payments below £5. Recommend the white chocolate and macadamia ice cream.
