A local pub , amazing place to hangout with small groups , great food , amazing taste. Fries / Chips were different and unique. Cheese Sauce was the best of the lot and must mention , pasta was great , and dessert is a must mention as well. DBC was great. Overall a good experience !!

The food was delicious! My husband had the melt-in-your-mouth Palmerstown burger whereas I had the roast beef plate. My meal taste like a genuine home-cooked meal. I would have given 5 stars if it were not for our waitress- Meda. She acted like it was such a bother to take our order and provide us service. We don’t expect to be waited on hand and foot and we were pleasant and respectful. However, she would get an A+ for serving us with the least amount of interaction.
Went to the Palmerstown house today for food - it was a Sunday around 4pm so it was very busy. Nobody seating customers, when we asked was there a table for two we were told to wait at the bar and someone would come and find us. We waited at the bar for around 15 minutes and seen a table become available so we sat ourselves down. I had to go and find a member of staff to come to the table to take our order. We waited 40 minutes for our food. I had chicken wings and aromatic duck and my wife had the roast of the day - roast beef. The food was appalling. The wings were soggy and tasteless and the texture was as if they had been boiled. The aromatic duck was crunchy chunks of meat on soggy pancakes, the meat was so crunchy and overcooked it was impossible to distinguish it from any other type of meat. My partners roast was a very small portion and was cold but otherwise was ok. I would usually advise a staff member but it was near impossible to get service. Even as I was paying I was not asked the usual courtesy of “was everything ok for you?”. Also a to note a family sitting next to us had finished their meals and ordered 4 brownies for dessert, it took 30 minutes for them to be served these. Avoid.
We came here for dinner and it was quite underwhelming. The place is really dirty, the tables are sticky don't seem to be wiped in between customers, and there was trash lying around everywhere. I think the main issue with the place is that it is too large for the number of staff, which ultimately results in poor service and hygiene. Had to get up and chase waitresses down to order and then had to do it once again to pay the bill. I also had to ask multiple people to order and pay as most staff seemed confused and/or overwhelmed. Will not go again, although it is located five minutes from my house.
We went for food around 5 in the evening. Wasn't overly busy, good menu with a Mediterranean slant. I had the lamb koftas they were delicious. Attentive staff.
Always reliable for lunch. Menu and table service makes a change from carvery. Food is consistently good and well presented. Recommended.
Been there two times with the office crowd for lunch. Absolutely fantastic place. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is the real treat!
Food and service was amazing, all the girls serving were lovely today, and the food was beautiful, as a picky eater who never really eats out.. I will be back!
Great for a drink and a game. Sometimes lacking in the friendly atmosphere if it's slow and not always clear on menu's what days special are set for e.g. weekend's
