Visited on a rainy day – a lovely park!nThe park is spacious, with plenty of room to play football. There's a sports centre right next to it, and the nearby street has several restaurants, perfect for takeaway. While there isn’t a dedicated push-up bar, you can easily find alternatives. The playground is primarily designed for children, but there are swings and other equipment that adults can enjoy too.

This park is beautifully maintained, with vast expanses of grass, vibrant flower beds, and plenty of mature trees that provide ample shade on sunny days. It’s an ideal spot for a leisurely walk, a picnic, or simply to relax and enjoy nature.nnI recently attended the Classic Ibiza live festival at Palmer Park, and it was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was electric, filled with the buzz of excitement and joy from attendees of all ages. The event was well-organized, with plenty of facilities to ensure everyone had a great time.nnThe music at Classic Ibiza was phenomenal. The DJ set kicked things off with some fantastic Ibiza tunes, getting everyone in the mood with classic beats and dance tracks that are synonymous with the iconic party island. Later, the unique twist of classical music renditions of Ibiza hits added a sophisticated touch to the evening. I live around this park and always go there when I need a walk or to chill.nIt's well manicured, clean and has a free outdoor gym.nIf you have a pet or kids it's a good place to take them for a walk or play.nI love it!
A lovely local space for those with kids, good for a run, a kick around, mates playing cricket and for people like me... Dog walks.nnIt's not always great though.n1. Lot's litter pretty much on every field.n2. Grass is cut often but cuttings are left to rot.n3. The litter is torn up by the grass cutters leaving sharp drinks cans scattered around.n4. Where they have lots of events, which of course is a good thing, the trucks tear-up the grass creating lots of muddy tracks.n5. Other than around the sports centre, all the benches are old and broken.n6. Lots of drug use.n7. Homeless people live/sleep in the bushes around the running track.n8. My wife won't use it at night in the winter because it's too dark. It's better lit than other parks but what lighting it does have is not enough.n9. Boarded up house and disused public toilets are eye-soars. Do something with them.nnDespite my list I still love this space and go there most days to give the dog a walk and allow it to sniff for hours.
