Visited the opening day of a fabulous Glyn Philpot exhibition. Such a great range and diversity of artworks. The gallery generally is super friendly I chatted to two great volunteers I wish other galleries were this friendly! Was half price with my Art Fund membership.
Lots of lovely contemporary art and some great special exhibitions. Well laid out and definitely worth visiting. Lovely courtyard cafe too.
Most recent visit was as good as ever, if not better. The rehang of some of the permanent collection was excellent. The focus this time, Ben Nicholson and the pots used in his practice, was top notch. Altogether a reassuring return to a favourite venue. Bonus was delicious lunch in cafe
What a fantastic roast dinner!!!! I had the roast cauliflower and then 3 beef roasts. I can honestly say it was about the best roast we've had. Service was very nice and polite. 1 downside....beer menu was a bit lacking. I was the only one to have dessert and the plum compote was really nice. Overall a great meal and if I'm near again I'm straight back
Excellent easy to view displays. Grouped in small areas with seating. Lifts for easy access. The Sussex show was amazing. It made me aware of all the places on my doorstep I had not visited. Activities for children too.

Outstanding collection of moderb British art well-displayed in a refurbished and much extended space. Interesting, and sometimes nationally important, temporary exhibitions. Excellent cafe. Thoroughly recommended.
Love this gallery. The café/restaurant is good too! And I can highly recommend 'Sussex Landscape: Chalk, Wood and Water'
This is a brilliant gallery with a very eclectic mix of exhibitions. Excellent coffee shop as is their bookshop..lots of fantastic and unusual publications.
Very good gallery with a nice cafe. Seems to have reasonable COVID secure measures. Worth a visit if you like 20th century British art.
