Very friendly staff, wonderful & creative ice cream flavours and a very wide selection of old-style candies. Coffee isn't half bad either. Homemade cannoli were nice but a bit too sweet.
Been here a few times for breakfast and it’s been good. The service can be less than friendly at times too. I have left a previous good review but you are only as good as your last visit. Ironically the service this time was lovely as we had a younger girl who was friendly unlike the usual grumpy waitress. The breakfast however was not good this time. Hugely overcooked with dried up eggs and dry sausage. Real shame. Even the coffee which is always good was awful. We were Not even asked if everything was ok at any point. Sadly won’t be back.
update'...soggy chips today, not nice at all actually fish was overcooked, a little burnt round the edges. not your usual standard....was a... super fast service, ordered special fish supper. ready within 10 mins. really nice food, best in 3 towns by far.
Fabulous Cafe started in 1938 art deco design a genuine Italian establishment which serves great food and excellent customer service, we are visiting the area from Glasgow and came across this real gem. Highly recommend this to anyone has great selection of sweets for kids and ice cream. Great fish chip shop attached too. First class a very rare occasion today that you get good prices and good food.

Best homemade ice cream Ever! Ridiculous flavors! Snowball ice cream, tablet, etc…..Thankfully we don’t live in the area or we would be eating there everyday! The owner and staff are very efficient, friendly; exceptional! I had a delicious veggie lasagna and my other family members had pizza and fish. All of our meals were yummy!
Best cafe in the 3Ts? Probably. The only small negative point is that the cakes are not as good as they might be - for example, the empire buis uit is too big, too much biscuit and not enough icing. But the food is otherwise excellent, staff are good, service fast and good ambiance. Also sells newspapers etc. Next door is the fish and chip shop - also excellent.
Excellent food at great prices and a great selection of ice cream and boiled sweets on site. Great chip shop next door as freshly cooked food served at any time. Well worth a visit
On a visit to Scotland so had to stop for fish and chips!! Sausage supper and fish supper shared between 2 both with curry and glass bottle irn bru Perfection The batter on the fish is perfect! Light slightly crispy and very tasty in very fussy with fish batter A must stop!
