Lovely spacious and clean room. Great food, evening meal and breakfast with good service. I would recommend bar service in the function room as the party did separate with half the party at the bar. A better gin selection would be nice. When we arrived it was very icy and the car park was like an ice rink and should have been salted. Enjoyable evening.
From London and recently moved to the Wirral. Had to drive to Devon so chose here for an overnight stay. Was lovely! Breakfast all clean and freshly prepared from the sausages to the homemade preserves of all flavours!! Great team, friendly faces and best of all....a dreamy bed with great TV channels Rooms: 5/5
The location was super convenient to us for other reasons, but you're but a shake away from the M5 here. No motorway noise, though, and the hotel is close to town amenities, too. We were ungraded to a nicer room on arrival, which was super nice, but not a must as all rooms looked tidy, cosy, and equipped well for business travellers or holidaymakers alike I would stay again - they were friendly and very dog friendly too. Special thanks to cheerful and welcoming housekeeper who made us feel extra welcomed. Rooms: Ours was very tidy, great value for money and equipped with everything a traveller might need.
If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. I had to stay here after car trouble on the Bank Holiday. The team were helpful and friendly from the very first phone call I made to ask for advice. I was checked in and eating hot food in my room within 30 minutes. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Steve was so kind and helpful to me, he was a saviour in helping me fix my car, taking me to a garage for a new tyre, running me back to the hotel and fitting the wheel for me in the pouring rain. I arrived unsure how I would fix my car and get home: I left there so grateful for the efforts and generous help from Steve I could hardly say thank you with getting emotional. Above and beyond service. I can't say thank you enough to everyone I met at the Padbrook. Thank you Rooms: Warm, clean and comfortable. Soft water and a deep bath. Perfect for a decent night's sleep.

We were here for a big family wedding, last Saturday of July. The room was immaculate. To stop the bride and groom from bumping into one another, Richard allowed us to eat in our rooms thank you Richard. The dogs loved it here too. The open grounds for walking. The staff throughout the actual wedding itself and wedding breakfast were amazing! Big shout out to Lewis who kept checking on us all. Some of us have a lot of dietary requirements and Lewis kept on top of it all. We had an amazing day there. The food in the evening buffet was incredible. We had the best time at your hotel and we will keep you in mind in the future when visiting families in the area now we know all the dogs were settled there 4 in total. Would highly recommend this hotel.
