Recently lost our reservation at Green Walk. Salesperson intimidating and unhelpful. Information of our plot 44 44a not sent to our solicitor for the Land Registry as configuration constantly changing, therefore she was unable to complete the contract for exchange. Our buyers pulled out due to the legal delay from Livesey. Livesey have retained half our deposit, £1000, because we “incurred expense for them.” Have also had to pay solicitors fees. Bitterly regret the whole episode. Dread to think what after sales treatment would be like. We have documented evidence of the whole sorry transaction to take forward.
I can’t thank the team enough at PJ Livesey to help me and my finance find our dream home! Minimal snags, sorted almost instantly and such a professional sales team. What a pleasure to deal with. Thank you all
Currently exchanged and awaiting completion of a property at Green Walk, Standish, Gloucestershire. Customer care has been very poor with delay of property completion for now four months found out from our solicitor as we asked them to check on progress without a phone call or email from the company. When we have raised this, they've said they're "sorry we feel that way" but haven't actually apologised for the poor customer care or the inconvenience and costs this puts on their clients. Poor service. I hope people who have completed get better after sales care. Finally in the property and we are still resolving snags from week 1 after seven months and new ones appearing. They have included - boiler leaks, water tank leaks why oh why they didn't install solar panels in 2022?, leaking windows, bent window frames, plastering issues, sinks not on straight and peeling the enamel, patio laid badly so flooding and collecting water, leaking shower screens, faulty balcony causing leak to porch and garage, fire door with no seal, stiff doors, bifolds that fell out of their holdings, and more. And this is just our issues. Very few new owners not had problems. Terrible quality, premium or not... It is a shame as it taints what should be a wonderful place to live.
Beautiful on the outside....Don't be fooled! Endless major problems including 114 window panes all scratched severely finally replaced taking 6 months to do so. No trap fitted to the Filter Unit so inhaling soil pipes. Lies but I have recordings. 2 years of endless problems. This company have no morals and a huge lack customer care. A solicitor is now on the case so there will be more to come I assure you. Court is our direction as it needs to be heard how they are treating customers. Wheres the Facebook page? There isn't one of course. My advise if you buy, employ a snagging company. Essential.
Company developing the 'St James Park' area in Didsbury, Manchester. I saw their contractors slopping cement on the public road transported in old open bathtubs on the front of their tractor to their other worksite. The site manager kindly posing for us in one of the photos - he complained about my attitude... did take steps to clean the road immediately - though some crude language was hurled in my direction by the driver of the tractor when he passed; I need to get a F'ing Life, apparently. I sent these photos to PJ Livesey as they asked for, but they did not respond for comment in 2 weeks despite promising a response in "3-5 business working days"; when I prompted them by phone yesterday for an update I was given the excuse: "The person dealing with that has lost her voice so can't talk to you now." I suggested they email no reply yet.
I moved into a PJ Livesey home last year with my fiance in Didsbury and we couldn't be happier! Our family and friends who visit us always comment on how impressed they are with the high standard of finish throughout the development and the high level of finish inside our home.
We regularly visit the Historic Quarter at Alderley Park where my sister and her partner live in a gorgeous PJ Livesey built home. We love the surrounding area greenery and walking paths available, we always go towards the gorgeous lake. Whenever I see the P J Livesey team, they are always so lovely and professional.
Terrible company to buy from, tried to blame my next door neighbor for the reason why the dividing fence was falling down. Once they have your money watch out they don't want to come back. Fence panels and posts are falling down and the base of the fence panels are wood, so in a few years they will rot and fall apart too, and that was inside 12 months, Foremen are rubbish too. They don't check the brick work and you can tell by the course work when the bricky's have their tea breaks. Stay clear if you can and buy a Redrow. You have been warned
Shame on P J Livesey. Trying to wriggle out of your responsibilities to the leaseholders at Read Mill in Norwich. The cladding failed the inspection and you need to replace it. The building is 14m high at the base of the slab at the top. Meanwhile the leaseholders are paying £100 a month extra in their insurance and can't sell their properties. It was alright when we built it won't wash. Maybe you can try that tactic with Mr Gove as well. Time to take your responsibilities seriously now the Building Safety Act 2022 has become law. No hiding place.
Very professional company, house was ready on time and the design is very user friendly and stylish. We had the inevitable teething problems upon moving in, but they were all tweaked promptly by experienced and super helpful staff. Brittany Pattern offered great communication throughout the process.
