Good value for money, clean and good size rooms, free parking. Stayed for the football, bus stop right outside, 10minutes into town. Late night Chippy just up the road. Staffs friendly and helpful. Will be stopping again next time we are up for the footy. Thanks
The place itself was very dated. Had to complain as the room had a tv that didn't work and there was not hot water from hand basin taps or shower, got moved to another room that was better. There no food available unless you order breakfast at time of booking . My room was right infront of a bus stop it was noisy at 6am , one good thing was plenty of parking .
Stayed for the football short taxi ride from town centre had a drink when got back on night in pub was great atmosphere proppa pub.nRoom is basic but great price so not expecting the rits staff more than happy to help with any questions and parking on the back with no charge.nDefinitely stay again next season
Unfortunately our stay was not great. We had stayed before a few years ago, and it was great, so we were excited to be going back. The room was filthy, thick with dust and dirt in drawers and bits all over carpet. I had to ask for a cloth to clean it myself and this did not bother staff at all. We had an item go missing from our room the day after arriving and nobody was interested or offered any apology or even looked into it properly. I will never be back unfortunately. There is one lovely lady who worked there but that is the only positive thing I have to say.
False advertising states have car parking, book, pay in advanced add message re require carparking. Hotel reply much later stating NO Parking is available! Don't even offer or suggest anywhere else to park! Hotel should correctly advertise their facilities! Hotel have no record of 3rd party bookings despite taking full payment. Customer services is a chat bot service so totally useless....
