The food was delicious and the service was amazing. We celebrated a birthday and farewell and the restaurant experience made it all very special. We had the Sunday roast of roast chicken with all the trimmings, it was all very delicious. We got a great table near the window and it was great to see the London views. Don’t miss this place was a wonderful experience.
Service was great, nice and welcoming staff. Food was incredible, the seared tuna and prawns are a must have! I opted for outdoor seating and the views were worth a little bit of wind, got lucky with the weather. They also have a neat collection of cider for those interested, me and my friend tried a honey cider and pear cider and loved both. Would definitely recommend eating here!
We had a nice dinner at Oxo Tower. The melted Camembert was great as a starter. The swordfish and beef were also quite delicious. The Harvey Nichols 2019 Malbec was superb. Our waiter was friendly and helpful, and the service was very quick. However, we were expecting a more pleasant and elegant atmosphere, but it was rather average. Additionally, the place was very noisy, with conversations from other tables creating quite a bit of noise. There seems to be an issue with the acoustics.
We came here for a drink on a Thursday. Didn’t have to book. Sat on the 2nd row so the view for the river and St Paul’s was not perfect. But we didn’t mind. They’ve got Christmas menu already up in serve. We feel - there were more staff than needed but maybe this is the style of the restaurant and it’s better to have extra pair of hands than under staff. Every cocktail is quite unique and got some interesting ingredient. We went with traditional ones rather than seasonal ones can’t remember the name!
Really lovely view and a great place when the weather is nice! The food is quite expensive probably due to location but lovely entree and desserts! The main meals were what let the meal down. Wasn’t anything special. The Mac and cheese side was disappointing and quite runny but the other side dishes were lovely. The cocktails are amazing and the lemon meringue dessert is a must!!
We went here to celebrate my best friends birthday. Overall the food was ok although it was served cold and service too a long time ! They had live entertainment which was nice! They did not make any special arrangements for my friends birthday alright I specifically asked ! Overall I think the food was overpriced for what it was !Food: 3/5
We had a great evening at this restaurant, celebrating my parents anniversary. The food is creative and comes with different and nice presentations. Our dishes were full of flavour and nice taste combinations. The wine list is great and the service was very kind and attentive. The location is amazing and the view is great. We went there for the sunset and that's a great option to have day and night views at once.
When compared against top end restaurants this place falls slightly short. Some really nice food but not quite the best. Most of the food was creative and delicious. The duck starter was fantastic. The chicken was really nice. The orange and goat cheese side was slightly let down by pips in the orange slices that I would not expect from a high end restaurant. The Jersey potato side was slightly undercooked. The desserts also didn't seem particularly creative. The service was nice but not quite that extra level of a high end restaurant. The restaurant felt a little cramped with space sacraficed in favour of more tables. In general everything was nice just not the extra level to make it truly high end.
Came here for drinks with friends. We didn’t have food but did have bar snacks. Restaurant is located on the South Bank where Royal Festival Hall is a short walk further up the river. The view of the city is beautiful as it’s on top floor of the building, great for catching the sunset. My previous visits where I’ve had food were wonderful, good quality dishes. This time we were drinking bubbly. Service: staff were absolutely wonderful, attentive and accommodating. Our waiter Amand think that’s how you spell his name, was super nice and friendly and went the extra mile in providing professional service. Other staff were just as great. Would definitely return. Vegetarian options: Good selection Parking: It’s challenging to find parking in central London, even if you can it’s expensive.
Great views of the city of London, wonderful service. Friendly and helpful servers and Delicious food. We stopped in after our walking tour and enjoyed a light lunch and some desert. We were seated right away and we're able to get a great table right by the glass railing to enjoy the great views. There are a lot of tables, should be no problem to get seated but most had reservations from what we saw. We enjoyed to the seared tuna mmm mmmm good and the carpaccio. So fresh! For dessert, we selected the cheesecake with a cherry topping. It was delicious!
