I'm not sure if it's obligatory for the sales assistants to be aloof , unfriendly posh, sullen and slightly combative ....if so they fulfill their roles perfectly. Other than the poor customer service, this is a neat, decently stocked, Oxfam store that is as per usual generally overpriced. However, it is in Summertown, so perhaps to be expected.
The most overpriced charity shop I have ever encountered. They sell New Look quality clothes for more than you would pay for the same thing brand new in the sale. Saw an ashtray have been interested in buying, selling for 30-43 on ebay, they priced it at 60. Manager extremely rude, unprofessional, money grabbing and utterly clueless. Thinks its normal to price things using 'advanced search' on ebay rather than 'completed items' to see how much they actually sell for. I will no longer donate stuff to Oxfam if they rip people off like that.
