It was my first time being here, and attended for a birthday party. The bar was very busy as there was the lounge area for the party I was attending, while there was another party on at the function room up the stairs. I will definitely go back as this seemed a really nice bar. Just obviously two separate parties on the place, at the same time, so it was absolutely heaving. Still giving it a 5 star review for a great night out.
Used to frequent this place years ago, but haven't been for a while. Popped in recently for a lunch with family and it's still as good as it was, excellent food and staff and great. Highly recommended.
First time in here for a drink in years, a great choice of "beers", but no heavy settled for an IPA, which was OK, but not what I really wanted.
Arrived at owens on a Thursday night, extremely busy, good sign, also quiz night, Food, atmosphere all great, staff were excellent as was the quiz master, superb night can't recommend highly enough and to top it off the prices were excellent, Defo back again Thanks everyone
Such a gem of a pub. Food is always delicious, there's always a good selection of beers on tap and the staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable.
I love steak pie,but everywhere ive tried,either tasted like tined or have no taste, this is the first time ive ordered from Owen, and i ate every bit of it,will definitely be getting it again, my only gripe was the ice cream ,i got sticky toffee pudding, and got half a scoop of ice cream with it,could do with a little bit more,apart from that everything was delicious

Good atmosphere even for a Monday afternoon. Full on hygiene precautions for covid and app ordering. Good bar with freshly made food.
We came upon this pub by chance but so happy we did. Atmosphere and the whole look of the pub is top rate.. the staff all young but very good at what they are doing keep everything running like clockwork with happy smiling faces and made us feel we were long time customers it is a lovely pub to go to. Food excellent as well. Yes it's a worth a visit and we told them as we were leaving that we would be back so we are looking forward to doing just that even with the distance we have to travel ... definitely 5 star
