We visited the cafe and ordered a full breakfast. The service was very quick and the breakfast excellent. Plenty of parking and a great space with a real fire. Also there is a great farm shop stocking local produce next door and high quality butcher. Would recommend.
What a lovely find! Farm shop very well stocked with seasonal produce and local beers! Upstairs the gifts are beautiful and christmassy at this time of year! The tea room had a good menu and the staff were very attentive! Will be back a recommended
Very quirky place. It's a barn conversion into a farm shop and cafe, completely sealed off to one another. With a big new secondary barn for the spa and businesses inside. Car park is all gravel, usually very full, with an overflow the same. Pothole gnomes have setup shop at the entrance, specialising in asteroid storm damage. Go very slow and very steady when in a decent car. The main barn looks.."charming", just don't climb the historic looking stairs, which are sealed off anyway. The Cafe entrance makes it look like a small single room operation, but it's not. It was queued with too many people last time I was there, so we abandoned it for elsewhere, so it's 4 stars on the basis of old experiences, reputation and balance of probabilities. Whole site feels a bit discombobulated, will re rate once I can get in again.
Lovely rustic venue. Service was good, food was very tasty. Lots of different portion sizes for different appetites! Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options
Really love this place. The food is delicious and the staff are warm, friendly and helpful. Still love this place. Visited 28.10.22 and had a delicious meal again yum!
Had lunch with family which was very good. It's a busy place which is generally a good sign!..For that reason parking was tight and there was quite a wait for food. Would go again though as it was very good. Plus I want to try the cakes next time!Food: 5/5
A tricky place to find but well worth the effort. We had a delicious high tea - choice of hot drink lovely cafe latte, very full cheese and pickle sandwich and fabulous raspberry & coconut slice. All very reasonably priced. Unsurprisingly it was busy and bustling despite it being mid afternoon on a work day. Lovely area for a walk too.
Had lite breakfast and coffee. All very good, although like my coffee stronger. Great rustic atmosphere and pleasant. Staff helpful and friendly. Farm shop and butchers attached. Worth a visit Parking: Parking can be limited when busy
Lovely old barn conversion, exposed beams, warm too with a wood burner. Food was lovely. Parking: Gravel parking Wheelchair accessibility: Cafe on ground floor- willing to open double doors for wheelchair access.
We have been dining here for at least 10 years but in recent months it has rapidly declined. Poor service, waited ages for our meals and when they eventually came I sent mine back as the chips were much thinner and burned and the garden peas had obviously been cooked ages before as they were shrivelled , it was also freezing cold inside and the majority of the diners ate with their coats on. We asked for a change of table which they could not accommodate. We will not be going back unfortunately. Kid-friendliness: Was told that they can’t do a child’s roast dinner Wheelchair accessibility: Not very accessible for a wheelchair user
