Great little garage close to campsite but a bit of a tight squeeze to drive motorhome through when filling up with diesel with the amount of cars parked up.
We discovered Overton Service Station in 2018 by chance when searching for a Facelift 4X4 Diesel Skoda Yeti to buy after several fruitless visits to Skoda Main Dealers in Shropshire and neighbouring counties. They had exactly what we were looking for at a competitive price. Not only have we been very pleased with the car we’ve also been impressed with the honesty, value and service provided by Phil what he doesn’t know about Skoda’s isn’t worth knowing, and his team so much so that we’ve just purchased a further vehicle. Don’t be put off by the lack of state of the art premises; this garage is like stepping back in time, but in a good way. An old fashioned garage where you’re treated with courtesy and receive excellent service. A great place to entrust your car or purchase a used one. Highly recommended!
When it comes to reliability and customer service, this business always looks after you. I've had several excellent Skodas from Overton Service Station in the past and can only highly recommend. A genuine and honest trader/dealer.
Buy all my cars from Overtòn garage. Always excellent service . If a vehicle is serviced you can feel the improvement. Fuel is always reasonably priced.
Always top service from Phil and Christine. Phil knows Skoda's like the back of his hand so you know your in good hands. Will continue to have our cars and our service/repairs from Overton. Good old fashioned garage!
My late Father used to take his Skoda to Phil and his team. I have continued to use this garage because of the honesty, value and service provided. Just goes to show you don't need a state of the art premises to offer an outstanding service. Delighted!.
I had an issue with my vehicle ABS light staying on and red break light flashing and the lovely man Phil said when I get back home check the fuses on the top of the battery casing and low and behold a broken fuse found. My other garage wanted me to buy an abs unit £800 + vat from a Skoda dealer, so purchased a fuse £1 sorted. Lovely bloke what an honest gentleman I’m blown away so will be sending him some dough for his good deed. Thank you Phil 5 star
We have been using them for years, on our second Skoda. Phil the owner is a fountain of knowledge about Skoda's and will tell you straight when you take a car in for repair. Don't be put off by the middle on the forecourt, just a reflection of how busy they are, a quality independent family firm.
Bought a used Skoda Octavia from here. It is like going back in time in a very good way, no hard sell, direct and friendly, and great advice. Really decent people and made parting with my old but loved motor very easy. Price wise I checked the prices out against autotrader and was somewhere in the middle - not bad when you get a long distance from the big conurbations.
I found Phil's garage by off chance as driving through Ludlow and ending up changing my car although i was only looking Phil is a really knowledgeable guy , no pressure sales and can take as long as you like looking around, Phil gave us a great price for our trade in and included a full service , 12 months MOT, and 12 months warranty on the new car, it drives like a dream , I've no hesitation recommending Phil and Overton garage, will be buying from Phil again in the future for sure ** UPDATE** Needed a 2nd car and again see Phil, another great purchase and fantastic customer service 5***** Update 8th August 2022..just changed my yeti for another yeti from Phil , outstanding service as usual great price & trade in with the usual 12 months MOT, service, 12 months warranty , you would really struggle to get better service anywhere else 5*****
